I've gone here several times over the past month and each time the French bread on the subs has been hard and stale on the bottom half of the baguette to the point it could break a tooth. Each time this was also early in the afternoon between 12 PM and 2 PM, so if the bread was made fresh around 11 AM per corporate policy it shouldn't have been hard or stale at all.
The bread was just sitting out on the rack completely uncovered and drying out like used to be done in The Middle Ages and The Roman Empire which I thought we had advanced past over the centuries but apparently we have reverted. This would be like at home if you bought a loaf of bread from the grocery store and just left the bag open forever until you decided to eat it.
The bread is supposed to be covered in plastic wrapping on the rack or at a minimum it's supposed to be stored in sealed plastic bins to prevent it from losing moisture and drying out. All this while a fly was buzzing around that could have landed on the completely exposed bread multiple times.
I could also tell that the employees knew that they weren't following corporate standards about bread quality and just didn't care as is typical these days in most fast food restaurants. This all while paying $10 for a sub sandwich with stale, crunchy, barely edible bread.
Of course, there was an entirely different set of employees in the store two months ago when the bread was cooked and stored properly and was always fresh and soft on a regular basis.
Get your store and its lack of standards under control if you...
Read moreYou know, for a place who is known for being âfreaky fast,â youâd think the people that work there would actually be able to bring that to the table. Every single time I have come to this location they have either been understaffed, or just flat out SLOW. I work at a factory and cannot take the time out of my day for them to finally be getting around to my pick up order that I placed almost more than thirty minutes before I picked it up. I arrived and they told me they had to make it really quick. But the gag is that there was no other customers in the parking lot and looked like there hadnât been a very large dinner crowd before we got there. Thank you Jimmy Johns of Sedalia for making me late back to my job! Very amazing! Very well run! Maybe you should actually have decent workers there that can provide, âfreaky fast,â service.
P.S. ordered my sandwiches at 6:33pm and JUST now got it at 7:17 with the...
Read morePlaced my order at 11:07. Walked into the store at 11:45. My order was still not ready at 11:50. Left with three sandwiches that have bread. Only ordered one sandwich with bread, clearly states on receipt and unwhich was ordered. Call the store at 11:56, to inform my order was not received appropriately. Needless to say I was hung up on the manager times three, so of course that just angers me more and I call back. I had no problem calling corporate and letting them know about their unprofessionalism at this store. Now thereâs nothing freaky fast fresh about waiting almost an hour for an order. They want us to use these apps, then they donât want to pay attention to their tickets! Maybe instead of standing back in the corner talking and getting paid to do nothing we actually do our job and help make the tickets upfront! I then was asked by their not so appropriate manager to never return...
