This was, without a doubt, one of the most abysmal fast-food experiences I have ever had. We placed a mobile order 10 minutes before arriving, hoping for a quick and efficient pick-up, but what we got was a masterclass in disorganization and apathy. At the drive-thru, it was immediately clear they couldn't locate our order number. Despite asking for a receipt (which we never received), we were eventually ushered to the next window to keep the line moving. There, we were bafflingly asked if we ordered a sweet tea – a stark contrast to our actual order. After another wait, we were then directed to window 3. This is where the real nightmare began. We waited for a solid 10 minutes, watching in disbelief as the next 5-6 cars behind us were all shunted into parking spots, seemingly because food production had ground to a halt. The sheer inefficiency was astounding. Fed up with the interminable wait, I went inside. I spotted an order runner with our food and, still missing a receipt, asked for it. What I encountered next was truly infuriating. One "manager" was openly playing on his phone on the customer side of the counter, completely oblivious or simply uncaring about the chaos unfolding around him. I approached another manager, requesting my receipt. He took my food around a corner, out of sight, and disappeared for 2-3 minutes before returning – still without the receipt! When I asked about the holdup, he claimed there was only one cook on the line, a blatant lie given the clear presence of 5-10 employees milling about in the back. Then, this "manager" simply walked away, leaving me standing there. I then asked the first manager about the store's General Manager, to which he flippantly replied, "he quit." When I pressed for the owner's information, he falsely claimed they couldn't provide it before also walking away, abandoning me again, still without a receipt. During this entire ordeal, the store was a scene of utter chaos. 10-15 people were inside, all waiting for food, many of them former drive-thru customers who had given up and come inside, desperately asking about their orders. "Management" ignored them all. A sweet, young lady at the register was visibly dumbfounded, unable to locate my receipt in the system. The collective frustration was palpable as customers, who had ordered well in advance, continued to wait, ignored and increasingly impatient. Ultimately, we had to leave without our food because we had another commitment. This McDonald's location is a prime example of everything wrong with customer service and management. The lack of organization, the blatant disregard for customers, the outright dishonesty, and the sheer number of employees doing nothing while customers waited endlessly is simply unacceptable. Read moreIF I COULD DO ZERO I WOULD. I used to go to this location because it used to be the good location not anymore last four times I've been there has sucked. I will get to all the other issues later , but for now let's talk about my most recent visit yesterday morning for breakfast. I order my food on the app prior at 7:39 I go in used the screens to order two large drinks while im waiting on my food so take my receipt up to counter i set there good ten minutes waiting until finally someone approached me and said my number handed me the cups at this point I ask him where do I pick up my online order and can u check to see if its done I was quoted 2 to 5 minutes he said ok thats it and then never spoke to me or let me know about it or nothing so I wait and wait after about 45 minutes go by I go up about to say something then I hear the cook yell my number and say here this for the order and he pulls out a bag puts my burritos in it then walks away again to help customers at the register who had also been waiting a long time, then while the cook making my hashbrowns and sandwiches I see a lazy employee hollering where is her bacon mcgriddle and the cook has already made mine and some other lady puts them in my bag so this lazy employee grabs one out of my bag for someone in the drive thru and shrugs her shoulders and laughs me and my husband both saw it he was pissed I was like well jokes on her then will be back in because I order mine no eggs.So after all that waiting not one time did they say sorry or anything. Two ladies left without their food or a refund then one lady ask for her money back said she couldn't wait any longer mind you she waited about half the time I did but as soon as she said this they made sure they got her food in like 2 seconds. Now all that aside here are the problems that persist and have been at this mcd for over a year now, one it looks dirty when we go inside, the left soda fountain ice machine has worked since can't remember when and their co2 tank obviously doesn't work cos the soda on the side has no carbonation, the one on right only one that works and im always iffy about using that one because the cabinet under neath or the trash can in between one smells like they are hiding a dead body I kid u not. It is horrible smell. The ketchup dispenser in middle has never worked not to big of a deal but all the ones in new braunfels does and they have napkins you have to ask for them here and they give you like 3 napkins and 3 ketchup for my family of 5. All around i would have to say this has become the worst mcd I have been to, its not as bad if you use the drive and more than half the time they do have you pull into pickup and you still have to wait but nothing like 45...
Read moreI’m a usual customer that comes every week and I can say every single time I order from the drive thru, to mobile orders, to dine in I’ve had to wait over 20-30 minutes unless it’s breakfast items!! They consistently check your orders off their list like they are taking care of you but forget about you till they give you old dried out food! 4 double cheeseburgers with one cheese and all of them are dried out and no they’re not McDoubles And no it’s not because I waited to get home to see the quality of my food. It’s because your cooks decided to leave your beef patties in the warmers over 30 minutes. And you can tell they cook more than what they are supposed to at a time because of the quality of the meat. The staff needs to understand that the meat is burnt from the start and then it gets worse while they’re getting cooked while distributing the orders and ignoring them there to get other people out. This is a coordinated problem here. And I can say the one calling the shots is not making the right calls here. I wasn’t the only one upset at the time either. Other people just got their long lasting orders and left. The girls are polite and always welcoming but there is no authority after that!
