Pike’s Seafood — Restaurant in Seneca

Went to the location because of reviews and local chatter about the store and experience. We bought steamers and king crab for a full seafood meal.

The steamers were fantastic and not even very gritty after being soaked for a while.

The crab is a huge disappointment. My wife bought and was charged on the scale for 2 lbs for $100. Just before cooking, the amount seemed off so we weighed the product and found it to be just barely over a pound as noted in the picture. The concern is it was on the scale in front of her as two pounds but clearly not the case.

Some variance is expected but at $50/lb, there should be much less variance.

I was SO excited to find this place! I’ve been in twice and both experienced were just exceptional. Both of the folks I interacted with were amazing, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. Everything is super fresh but somehow also cheaper than the previously frozen stuff at the grocery store. Their halibut was a full $8 cheaper PER POUND than the local store. Bonus points for having sashimi-grade options too! I will definitely be a regular here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for...

I cherish a place in the area where you can get fresh seafood. They truck it in weekly from North Carolina, I believe. Great salmon, tuna, scallops, and shrimp. Also their frozen shrimp from Louisiana might be some of the best I’ve ever had—which I did not expect!
