I've had to eat here 3 times all after being at the hospital bc they are the only thing open in such a small town. Every single time they have forgotten something in the to go bag.
The first time it was my wife's pecan waffle the week before having our baby. so she was not only hangry but emotional from the hospital and the only thing she wanted to eat was the pecan waffle and they didn't even add a waffle at all.. imagine an emotional 37 week pregnant hangry lady at 3 am with nothing she wants to eat after they forgot the waffle. Not fun.
The last time we were there 2 weeks ago was after another ER visit. this time for our baby boy we were discharged at 11pm on a sunday...so again no where else was open. The staff were very nice she asked if I wanted pecans in the waffle, we did. She offered Chilli on my hashbrowns and that's actually the only thing I wanted.
We make it home 45 minutes later exhausted and so ready to eat after no food for about 15 hours and surprise surprise no pecans in the waffle and no Chilli for the hashbrowns!
VERY frustrating to expect to eat something for an hour and a half and pay for it then get home and not get it. We atleast got the waffle this time, so that's a step-up from the other 2 times. I suppose it's on me for not checking the bag before leaving, but I doubt we would have waited any longer if it wasn't there bc we were tired, hungry, and ready to get home.
I would say never again but when you don't have that many options to start with, I know we will be back one day. Maybe they will get...
Read moreWell the food was good made by a young red haired fellow,I thanked him for the good food he made for my friend and myself ,as he asked me ,how was your food? Of course we told him ,good, very good! The waitress was friendly and inviting to say the least. Superb service ,oh and also during the meal , gotta give those props, the young man whom had cooked for us ,did come to our table and asked us did we need anything? I thanked him ,and told him yes ,some grape 🍇 jelly please. He brought it and that was that. We finished our meal and went to where another sweet young lady took our bill ,we paid and left. But not before mentioning that the young lady was inside now alone with a male who really seemed to need true mental health. Those who were having a break came inside quickly after I told them the man was back. So cudo's to those that serve 1st the customer, bit then stop their own break to return inside soley because their team mate was alone in the Seneca store with a man whom hadn't done any wrong that anyone could speak of ,but because he truly seemed alot off in his in his behaviors. Great all around job!! And whatever law enforcement that patrols the waffle house area on 123 should really stop by, especially when it appears...
Read moreDear New Waffle House, We were so excited for you to open! We had high hopes! Well, it's been such a let down. The waitress staff needs to be trained or replaced. Last visit our waitress ignored us for 20 minutes. Mind you we were to the left of the register at the corner bar/table. Not in a corner. She had a very bad attitude. Took another 15 minutes just to bring us coffee. So we quickly ordered food at that interaction. It was another 10 minutes before she called out our order to the Cooks. People were waiting to be seated and every table around us was empty but covered in dishes from the last customer. We didn't get up and leave because we were waiting to see how this experience ended. Once we received food it was barely warm because it had been ready and sitting waiting to be brought to us. We were missing an order of bacon and she tried to argue with us saying she brought it. No ma'am, we had 2 orders and you brought one. This was our 3rd attempt at trying for a good experience. We were failed all 3 times. We are done! Try better! Do better! Sincerely, A new Huddle House...
