I PRE-ordered a Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream cake, at the end of August, for my oldest son's birthday party. After we sang "Happy Birthday" and cut into the cake, we noticed that it was NOT what I ordered. Infact, we didn't even know what flavor it was... Weird I know, but that's because most of the ice cream was vanilla (I think) but there was like 5-6 pieces of cookie dough throughout the whole cake and a random spots that tasted like mint chocolate chip. So, I called to complain and I told them what happened and the girl I talked to, didn't apologize, nor did she offer a refund or a new cake... I just heard crickets on the other end. I told her I would be up to get my refund and she told me that they wouldn't be able to do that because we took the cake, cut into it, and ate it. Yes, we did, but it was my son's birthday, so because Bruster's screwed up, my son doesn't get any birthday cake? I don't think so! Next day I went to get my refund and in total I was there for 1 hour listening to them go back and forth as to why I should or shouldn't get a refund. I was leaving there with my $30 refund, regardless. Yes, $30 for a small round random flavored cake! I GOT my money back, and told Bruster's staff that I would never ever give them another dime. I would NEVER recommend...
Read moreUsually when I come to this location, the service and delicious treat of ice cream is on par. However when i walked up to the counter i saw two young ladies working, and boy did they give me attitude. The first girl, Lauren Lomango, did a terrible job taking note of my order. I simply asked for a cake cone with Chocolate, and she took 5+ minutes to scoop it for me. And what she gave me was wrong. I asked for my order to be free, and in return she scoffed and stole my wallet. The second worker Nat Kurchywarchyiceheuck, was better but still bad. She ended up scooping me the right cone, but at the bottom was mulch from their benches. I was fuming with anger and ended up going to giant eagle for ice cream. I write this review in high hopes of some employee changes and possible new management of the location, as I truly love and want this...
Read moreI attempted to call this Brusters to submit an order for my son’s favorite dessert, an ice cream pie! When I called, the phone went disconnected and I was confused because they were open when I called. I called later and they picked up. When I asked for my pie for my son’s 11th birthday, the workers laughed and said “Funny Joke, we’re not falling for this” and then hung up. I called again and I was furious that these workers are not taking their job serious. I called the Brusters in Gibsonia and I had ZERO problems getting my son’s favorite mint ice cream pie. This place needs to get some serious reevaluation on the staff. Safe to say I’ll never be back to this...
