Mr. Hero — Restaurant in Seven Hills

TLDR-they attempted to reheat old fried mushrooms but didn't reheat them long enough to even warm them, then would only replace them if we drove back immediately.

Our local Mr Hero has always been average, so we always returned. This last time we received ice cold fried mushrooms for our take out order; found out once we got home. Called to request a replacement for that item at a later date. Put on hold and heard last telling someone (owner or manager) that we were not happy with our mushrooms bc they were "not fresh". She came back and said we can come back up and they will give us new ones, which was ok, but we were not packing the kids up (preschooler and baby) and driving 20 min round-trip for some $3 mushrooms. They would only replace them if we came right then. My wife told me she watched the lady put our mushrooms in the frier and take them out less-than 5 seconds later. Mr Hero is good, but not returning to this location. If they don't want to bother with properly compensating customers for their own error, them they must not care enough to keep...

There food is great but the service there is terrible. I ordered on the phone two large waffle fries with cheese and when my boyfriend went to pick it up we only received one. We didn't notice til we got in the car. He went back in and let them know and they argued with him that I only ordered one on the phone, even though he was there with me and heard when I called. They promised him that I said one on the phone and that he was wrong. After the mess up she rolled her eyes and gave him attitude the rest of the time. She also forgot the cheese and made us pay extra for one. An the guy in the back had his airpods in the whole time my boyfriend was trying to explain the situation to him. I have been going to this location for a while now. Hasn’t been great. But this last time was HORRIBLE ! I ordered 2 subs, one chicken Philly, the other tuna. When I got home the tuna was nothing but onion and tomato, VERY LITTLE tuna. Took it back and it was remade but again not much tuna again. My husband’s chicken Philly had chicken in the middle and nothing on the ends. Way to expensive for want you get ! Too many sub shops around to settle for a terrible sandwich. Save...
