After a few runs down the mountain at Seven Springs, or lets be honest one really, I am ready for a break. When I need to refuel on the mountain I head to the Foggy Brews restaurant for craft beer and hand-crafted food creations. This place is seriously delicious, exactly what the resort needed. The menu has many delicious choices. So many I usually can't decide and order too much food, falling into a sluggish food comma unable to return to the mountain... Oh well this food is worth it! The bar area here is huge, featuring a 100ft bar top in a modern but rustic style, with shelves made from snowboards. There are of course plenty of beers on tap to choose from.

Out of all the fun starters on the menu, the crispy pickles are fulfilling, served with a BLT aioli. This pairing was surprising to me, as us Pittsburghers love our ranch dipping sauce, but it is a welcomed replacement. My Boyfriend enjoyed the Mushroom Barley with rich mushrooms, barley and vegetables simmered with a beef broth, topped with herbs.

Although the barman suggested the mussels, my BF who eats mussels regularly, did not enjoy the dish. Described as, "Fresh black mussels steamed in a Spicy Carrots broth, Andouille Sausage, Shallots," he says he thought the sauce was weird and he craved a warm buttery sauce instead

We also love to order the Bison Burger and the Fish Tacos. I really encourage you to try the Foggy Brews next time to head to Seven Springs. After a meal here you'll need to revive yourself with a cup of coffee. Which come in the cutest vintage-inspired mugs. Even if you aren't working up an appetite on the slopes, its...

This place has such potential… food is fine but way overpriced. The atmosphere is nice. We had the rudest server yesterday- we sat at a high top with three kids and she was rude from the moment we sat down. Our drinks took about twenty/ thirty minutes to get - which is fine, they were busy, but when she was delivering the drinks I asked for a sprite and she said “we are out” and walked away / I basically chased her down to get a lemonade for one of my children. She definitely did not want to help us. I get it was busy - but the rudeness was uncalled for. There are no great eating options at Seven Springs - and you are basically stuck with bad service and mediocre food. The food took over an hour to get - we ordered chicken fingers and hot dogs. They definitely were not prepared for a holiday...

The Goggle is a fun place for a drink! However, we had an awful experience trying to grab food after a morning of skiing. Like many establishments on the mountain, seating was self arranged. It’s your job to scout out a table and swoop in once the previous party leaves. After waiting an hour for a table to clear this weekend, my girlfriend and I were instructed by a staff member that we would need to get up because they “do not split tips”. We explained multiple times that we had closed our tabs at the bar from our over 1 hour wait for the table, and still very much intended to purchase food, drinks and ultimately tip this server. Despite that, the server continued to assert that would not be allowed, and that we would need to remain standing. Super great way to treat...

There aren't many places to eat in the area, so we ended up here when we were in town for the weekend. It's park of the ski resort. The setup is nice with a large outdoor patio overlooking the ski slopes. There is live music at night in the summer. The food wasn't good. We got the Pit Pulled Beef Sandwich. The meat was incredible dry and lacked flavor. There wasn't much sauce or cheese on it. The chips that came with it were good. The bar setup seemed pretty good. It seems like a good place to come for a drink, but I wouldn't recommend the food.

Make sure to text ahead from the website to reserve a table. Got a table faster this year than that at any point in the past before covid... And no wandering around in your ski boots asking people if they're leaving. Texted ahead from the top of the mountain and they had a table ready by the time you we got down. Tables are nicely spaced out and patrons are following protocols. They are keeping groups outside until there is room for them to be seated. They are seating groups in both the goggle and foggy brews.

The over the top nachos were insane! There was no way to finish them. The Bavarian pretzel sticks were on point. The overall vibe is very lodge-esque. Great place to grab a bite with the kids on lunch from mountain adventure camp. I’m giving 3 stars because of pricing and food quality, but as I have found over the years, ski resorts sell a lot of over priced “bar food” but you’re there for the ambience and the slopes. We’ll try Helen’s tomorrow.
