I came in and I ordered a Jalapeno crunch double Burger, A garlic double cheeseburger in order parmesan fries. I paid for my order I went to the restroom and as I came back now I engaged in conversation with another gentleman. My food was given to the other gentleman I was Speaking to IA even question the woman as to whether that was my food or not. I also asked the other gentleman is it a possibility you have my food and he said no. As I'm waiting for my food the gentleman returns in said what did you order I told him what I ordered and he said they game your food I'm sorry. Adapt point I was kind of angry because I am dealing with a time issue as a truck driver I'm on a schedule I only get a certain amount of time to take my Lunch. I asked to speak to the manager the woman came over and shake nord me one of her fellow workers let her know that I would like to speak to her and she rudely told her I know I heard him. I have never feel more humiliated Internet stablishment in my life I wished the cashier a happy New Year and I told her mind was going to be a great New Year as Jesus was my co-pilot and I showed her my shirt and my necklace with a cross on it The manager's name was Karrie. This manager accused me of being intoxicated keep in mind I have somewhat of a speech impediment to to a heart attack and several cardiac issues so I do have a slur to my street but that should not be a factor in be Extremely judge mental Accusing me of being intoxicated. There was a lot of people in the store who overheard her yelling at Me. Little does she know I parked my truck next door and I walked back over to the store and got the names of the different customers who overheard her accuse me of being intoxicated because I was simply complaining. She took my food in the back after making It I'm wondering if she did not spit in it Because with her trashy mouth I wouldn't put it past her. I am going to call the corporate headquarters And I'm going to personally see to it that she loses her job or at the very least gets demoted and loses her position as a manager because her behavior definitely did not constitute a management position. I waited for my order to be remade because a customer took my food and left the store with it would you eat the food after somebody else opened up your sandwich I asked are to be compensated for her mistake and she refused and became very belligerent and loud and told me I was not welcome back. I will get personally calling my attorneys For being discriminated against for my disability. And then she had the nerve to tell me she was sorry but I didn't have a right to Complain about their mistake The saddest part about this whole situation is young girls in the back were snickering and laughing the whole time and I feel so humiliated and embarrassed I have going to throw the food out and dispute the transaction on my credit card. This woman has no idea who I am and the people that I know in the upper level of the...
Read moreI would have to say that this was the worst experiences I have ever had when we have gone out to eat. When we arrived there was not a clean table in the place, the waitresses seemed to be bickering, our drink order was messed up and our food was not only extremely SLOW to arrive it was cold when we got it. We ordered shakes with our meals and I watched them sit in the window the whole time we ate. The waitress said she had no idea what the hold up was for the shakes and said she would have them made and put in to go cups. We had already been done eating our cold meals for awhile now....I went up and paid our bill waiting for our shakes which were just poured into cups from sitting in the window. When she brought them out they were completely melted and 2 of the 4 ordered were the wrong ones. They were NOT busy at all I am not sure what the issue was but I told them I did not want the shakes I just wanted my money back. I got a "look" I felt like I had been more than patient with the lack of service. You could not pay me to go back to this Steak and Shake. Hands down the WORST place I have ever eaten, which is a shame as others...
Read moreUpdate to my earlier review: this restaurant recently re-opened after a remodel to the new self-serve area. We had just been to the one in Lawrenceburg and wanted to see what this one was like. Unfortunately, we can't report that it was much better than before.
At Lawrenceburg, someone greeted us immediately and asked if we needed help with the kiosk. At Seymour, no one greeted us or even acknowledged our presence.
I had ordered a cherry Coke and at Lawrenceburg, they had the syrup near the self-serve drink area. Not the same at Seymour. I stood at the counter for 5+ minutes, waiting for someone to acknowledge me. I made eye contact with several individuals, including who I think was the manager, and no one asked if I needed assistance even tho I raised my cup. Finally, the person brought our food to the counter and when I told her the issue, she asked me if I was able to ring it up that way. She then went to find the syrup container and added the cherry for me.
The plus side was that the food was good! No criticism there!
Sadly, what we were hoping for with the remodel, speedier and friendly service,...
