Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Sharon Township

Well that was a huge disappointment. Took my daughter at noon on a Saturday to get some smoothies after her basketball game and figured it would nice to try the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Walked in to the location and there was quite a few people in there waiting. Not one person was eating. Four people working behind the counter. We looked over the menu, decided what we wanted and approached the register... nothing. No greetings, no "we'll" be right with you. So, we waited and I watched. They brought out four separate orders to people... where one portion was always returned as being incorrect. Four, in the span of 10 minutes. I could see there order screen and knew they were busy but the lack of any communications and the amount of food being returned for being incorrect prompted us to leave. We spent 20 minutes in a place without being greeted and was never able to place an order. By the way, there was no one waiting in front of us to order. It was disappointing and I'm not planning on going back. We ended up at another smoothie place and they weren't the friendliest but at least they acknowledged us being there and the orders came...

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this cafe! I hadn't been all that interested to try it but on a whim I met a friend for lunch. The menu was much bigger than I expected! I tried a vegetarian wrap that was very good and the smoothie I ordered was great too. The people working were very patient and kind and informative! I did notice how high the calorie count was on the smoothies and they do add sugar. They suggested I try the half sugar option and I'm glad I did! I think it would have been too sweet otherwise. Next time I actually think I'll try no...

I frequent here pretty regularly when I don’t have time to meal prep or pack my lunch. The food and smoothies are always fantastic! Customer service is outstanding! Jonah is awesome!

My personal favs are the island green, blimey limey, açaí smoothies (personally I prefer half sugar) the combo for the Caribbean jerk wrap with the kale coleslaw is my fav and go to order but all the wraps are really good and so are the quesadillas! Lunch averages 13-17 depending on what you get and how many additives you put in...
