Subway — Restaurant in Shawano

I stopped in for lunch (6.23.23). Upon walking in, one girl was up front making a sub. As I approached then counter she called for help, as the bread oven was beeping, and she was in the middle of making a sub. There were two people dining in the dining room, but I was the only one in line. No one responded to the employee (Tara’s) request for help. I could see the frustration. One girl came up, and immediately turned around as Tara stopped making the sub to then pull the bread. The girl who came up and went back into the back started throwing pans around. I felt extremely uncomfortable and should have walked out. Tara then expressed an apology. I told her no need, I can see how hard she is working up here. I told her to take a breather and I can wait, i’m in no hurry. Tara then started to cry. I could hear the employees start to talk harshly. Another girl did come up and started making my sub. Tara checked me out. I thought about this as my work day went on. I did not feel right not saying something. I called and spoke to the manager Brett and expressed my concern for the bullying happening WHILE customers AND children were in the store (the pan throwing, the snarky comments). He then offered me a 6 inch sub. Well, as much as I appreciate it, I don’t think I need a “hush” sub. He then tried explaining the drama to me telling me the girl who was belittled etc was the drama starter. I truly couldn’t see it. I was in the store; he was not. Work place bullying is a thing! As for someone who manages a team, such as myself owning a company here in Shawano, i’d never EVER air my employees drama. And i’d pray my employees wouldn’t belittle each other. I am truly disgusted that this woman working so hard was belittled and disrespected. I don’t think i’ll be coming to this subway for a while now as I feel it was a hostile environment and truly ruined my day watching this sweet girl get...

Colton absolutely DEMOLISHED my sub. He cut the bread like he was playing fruit ninja. When I asked for a lot of cucumber he put a lot of pickles. (Left a handful of pickle juice) I understand pickles are made of cucumbers but they’re totally different. Lol When I asked for banana peppers he put about 3 on there. That wasn’t the only ingredient he went light on, I found myself asking for more after already asking for more. I’m a professional subway reviewer and travel across the county to review subways, this subway was by FAR the best subway in the entire midwest, got my sub on point, everything was extremely fresh and tastes spectacular did everything 100% correctly!
