Just had the wildest experience in my life (I am 61 yrs old) at Buffalo Wild Wings in Shawnee. Donât know where to startâŚ
Hardly nobody in there at all - almost empty. 3 Bartenders in 20 minutes, and only one paid attention to us when we first came in, but she left almost immediately. Pretty sure shift change was 4:00. The actual bartender showed up about 4:20. Wearing a halter top and short-shorts. All she wanted to do was weigh liquor bottles - didnât engage with the 5 customers she had at the bar, at all. But she did manage to check her phone and text non-stop when she had weighed one bottle each time. She never came back to us to check our drinks or see if we ordered food. But did a great job of staying on her phone and weighing bottles. Food we ordered with one of the 2 others bartenders finally came out - brought to us by a hostess. Food was ok. Bartender NEVER came and made sure order was correct or good. Nobody did at any point. A couple came in with 2 boys. Ordered a drink and appetizer (at a table in the bar). Bartender poured the 2 beers for the couple.. they sat at the server area for over 10 minutes - I timed it. The server brought out their chips and queso, but never got their beers. They finally went up and got their own WARM beers from the server area⌠When the servers realized they forgot about their drinks, they laughed about it and then made sure to check their phones for texts. Bartender never did come check on us. Our beers had been empty for over 10 minutes at this point. I went out to hostess station and asked for a manager. Numersous times, there was no one behind the bar for over 10 minutes or more. When the manager came out, I explained all of this to him. He seemed frustrated and apologized. Also took some off our bill. Weve had some problems with this place in the past, but honestly, this was by far one of the worst in my life.
I am still stunned and shocked. Still canât believe I just experienced this⌠find someplace else. Dont...
Read moreWe were just at this location for over two hours. It was sub 65 degrees in there the entire time. We asked about it, and nearly every group in there had blankets and their arms in their shirts it was so cold.
Then, we waited for over an hour and a half for our food, just for it come out cold and stiffened. Most of us forced down our wings, but couldnât eat our fries and onion rings.
Also we asked a question about a typical menu item that was never answered in the 2 hour span.
Further, when she brought the bills, we were told to just figure out whose was whose on our own.
We spoke to the manager and he said âheâd take care of itâ, and then proceeded to never do anything.
It was one of the worst dining experiences Iâve ever had.
We were kind the entire time and polite, but it wasnât fair to us and the other customers the way we were handled.
Then, there was an automatic 18% gratuity on the bill.
Never once were we asked âhow is the foodâ or âis there anything else I can do for you?â
2 of our people ordered drinks and didnât receive them for over 3 minutes.
Honestly, the overall experience was hardly even fathomable.
Definitely wouldnât...
Read moreTerrible service. Our waitress was apparently too busy to remember we ordered an appetizer. We reminded her and she returned shortly with fried pickles that were still partially frozen. She was too busy to flag down, so I took them to the kitchen area where I showed a young lady the problem. She shrugged and said âyeahâ??? I said, âdonât you think thatâs a problem?â She deflected and said I should talk to the server. I left her with the pickles and said she could figure it out. I also said I wasnât paying for them. Minutes later, an unidentified gentleman appeared at our table and said he removed the pickles from our bill, and asked if everything else was alright. I said yes and then related what happened with the kitchen employee. He had no response to that other than to ask again if everything else was ok. I again asked if the frozen pickles were alright with him. Finally, he relented and said âno of course not.â Wow! I didnât expect to have to argue my case for properly prepared food to the staff at Buffalo...
