Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Shawnee

Drive thru does not allow for slow, large orders to be deverted for the smaller and quicker orders. Making for 30 minutes or longer wait times for orders that should only take a few minutes to receive after ordering. This is a management decision that has cost them my business, not to mention the over pricing that they are all guilty of. To be quite honest, Mr/Ms. owner, I have been a loyal weekly customer since you opened your doors. Even after the fire, when everyone I knew was complaining about the drop in your food's quality and taste, I remained true. However, over the last 2 years your (like I said, as well as all others) price gouging far beyond the fair value of your products, even at today's standards, and the refusal to have large, slow orders wait in your parking spaces designated for that purpose, causing unnecessary long wait times for small, quickly filled orders is my final straw. The personal inneptness to attention to detail, that has overtaken the fast food industry, causeing most orders to be incorrect, the quality of their products, the combo meal con designed to add a vary over priced drink to the order, and the general overall pricing structure and wait times, will ultimately be the doom of this industry. First off this food made me sick because the fish was raw so under cooked it tasted like play dough and the front desk lady (blonde hair) was incredibly rude not telling me anything about my order just dead staring at me until I was done not asking me what type of drink I wanted just stared at me then didn’t give me my drink then up charged me for a Pepsi when I ordered a water not to mention my food came out the same time my receipt was printed and she didn’t hand it to me just stared until I walked away I watched my food go cold on the counter for 20 minutes waiting for her to restock napkins then call out a random number that wasn’t even on my ticket not to mention she whent to the drive through window with my food asking who’s it was because she had no idea then finally handing it to me just to be rude and shove off every costumer after me making another person wait for her to restock the napkins just to get some with her to go order I got through 1 piece of fish and through up I now have food poisoning wishing I said something about my cold fish sitting on the counter if this wasn’t they only store in my area I wold never be back to this location I will say this is the only time I have ever delt with this type of behavior at this location but I do hope they will re evaluate who they let...

It's difficult to find a LJS that's decent anymore. Sad thing is most of the good ones are now an A&W/LJS restaurant. This one had good fish and shrimp. The chicken was sub par and the clams were disgusting. LJS used to be a great restaurant with a good atmosphere. Now they all seem to be dingy, dirty, sticky, and frankly not worth the effort to find anymore. Was disappointed to find this one in the run down and not so good anymore category. Stand alone LJS should stand alone in our memories and never indulged in real life. So long Captain Long John Silver, you'll live on in my memories of tasty white flaky battered fishy goodness.
