I took my wife and mother to this location, 3rd or 4th time I’ve eaten here and enjoyed every previous experience. However, the waiter we had this visit seemed completely lackluster, like he would rather be doing anything else. When we placed our order my wife ordered seafood linguine with diavolo sauce instead. Our waiter didn’t understand so I did my best explained further. Our waiter then asked us “the diavolo sauce on seafood linguine?” He then excused himself and went to the kitchen to, I assumed, ask if the request was do able. He returned shortly explaining it wouldn’t be a problem. When our food was brought out my mom’s and my order were correct, but my wife was brought seafood ravioli with white sauce. I politely told him this wasn’t what my wife had ordered and, very standoffish, he exclaimed it was. I sternly, but politely said “no sir, I said seafood linguine with diavolo sauce.” He returned by telling me I was wrong. We went back and forth 3 times him telling me I was wrong. He did take eventually take the plate back to the kitchen and come back to tell us that it will be a few minutes. We began eating and sharing our food with my wife all the while receiving off putting looks from the each of the staff as they exited the kitchen. My mom and I had finished eating by the time my wife’s food arrived at the table carried by our waiter and the manager, a tall middle aged gentleman with a salt and pepper beard and a slight accent, who informed us that “next time ordering this dish ask for seafood linguine with diavolo sauce.” I explained I did that exactly. He rolled his eyes and walked away without the slightest of an apology. I love supporting local, but next we feel like Italian I sure we’ll make the drive to OKC instead because the Shawnee Roma will never get my...
Read moreThe staff was friendly, our server seemed a little over zealous but she was nice, and attentive. Some of the other servers/employees seemed like they kept staring at us for some reason, there wasn't too many people there when we got there.
The food was alright, nothing to rave about. I'm suspecting most everything we ordered hit the microwave before it got to our table. The rolls came out really hot like it was nuked. We got calamari for appetizers which again came our really hot. I started out with a Caesar salad, flavor was ok, but the lettuce leave were really soggy like it was sitting for a while. One of us got eggplant parmesan which looked to be a really large portion, I didn't taste it but it didn't look very professionally done, presentation is everything. My daughter got the spaghetti and meat sauce, she took one bite and said she didn't want it, again, I didn't taste it. My wife got the calzone, it was pretty big. She said it was just ok. I got the lasagna which was ok. It was overly hot, I'm guessing it may have started out in the oven and finished off in the microwave, but the portion size was good.
If management sees this, I think the price is a little high for the quality of the food. I would be ok paying a little more for smaller portions of excellent food, than for big portions of mediocre food. If everyone at the table has to take home a to-go box, somethings wrong, except my wife, she doesn't eat much before saying she's full and the leftovers will just sit there until I decide to throw it away, but anyways. She says she may want to visit one more time to try the pizza since she heard...

Hey everyone,
My husband and I love Italian food and we have been wanting to try out this place for a while but with 4 kids it's a whole ordeal to get out of the house. We normally hit Fratelis for dates but wanted to be closer to home as our sitters (my BIL and his wife) don't have kids of their own so we wanted to be close by just in case. Well, yesterday was the first date we have had in a long time and we went here first. It was a GREAT experience. No wait for a table and it was clean and the workers were friendly and very efficient. The food was really good, a little more expensive than the normal fast food but on par with chili's or other date type establishments. The bread was good, my chicken parm sandwich was packed full and delicious, my husband's calzone was full of meat and real cheese (the cheese pull was insane y'all). It wasn't very busy but after the Branding Iron failed so bad I am worried that this place is still paying for those mistakes. If you need a great place to try, I highly recommend this one. They do take out and the pizza to go is going to be my next purchase there. If you want a new Italian place to try, please consider this one right behind sonic on 45th...
