The Walkabout — Restaurant in Sheboygan

The actual bar itself is nice. Nice decor, well maintained. Staff was friendly. Food left a LOT to be desired. I would say this was the worst food I have had in a long while.

Burger much smaller than the bun. Smelled and tasted like raw mushrooms. I do like mushrooms and I prefer them to be cooked. Thing is, I didn't order any mushrooms and there weren't any mushrooms in the burger. Bland and at room temperature. Fries were bland, overcooked, and at room temperature.

To be honest, I would have been better off going to BK or Wendys. I was trying to be a little healthier and getting something fresh cooked. It was Dart league night, and if you weren't part of the team, you didn't belong. I asked the bartender if the kitchen was still open, and she reported that it was, and acted as if my ordering was causing her to have to reopen the kitchen. I couldn't hear the bartender to complete my order due to the dart league being so loud. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and fried onions. Was in the mood for some hot wings and decided to try the Walkabout out! In the end, I was glad I did! I got a delivery order so I cannot comment on the building or service but my food was made quick, given to me quick, and the delivery driver was nice and friendly! The food I got, ranging from hot wings, fries, and mini tacos were all tasty AND very affordable! No problems, try the Walkabout if you're in the area, I recommend it!
