WAGE THEFT ADMITTED BY THE BUSINESS OWNER
We ordered 5 $10 stuffed crust pizzas, 1 was made with the wrong toppings. We notified the store immediately and were told we needed to talk to the owner. We were told the owner would contact us back and they would leave a message for her. Well several days went by and we never heard back from the owner. So finally we called back and the owner said they needed to talk about it and they would contact us back, but once again they never called us back. So after another week, we called the owner back and when talking to her (she was INCREDIBLY rude) she told us that we got a good enough deal on our pizza and she didn't care that it was made incorrectly because it was "too good of a deal anyways" . After we pressed her, she also said that the most that she would do would be maybe a $2 off a pizza. She also said if we absolutely insisted on her remaking the pizza the right way like we paid for initially, that she was going to MAKE THE EMPLOYEE PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE PIZZA. This is an ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICE and she should be reported to the labor and wage board.
IF YOU'RE AN EMPLOYEE HERE, PLEASE KNOW THAT SHE'S NOT ALLOWED TO DEDUCT THINGS FROM YOUR WAGES LIKE THAT AND YOU CAN REPORT HER FOR...
Read moreNot sure why but their staff has treated me very disrespectfully on several occasions. The first time was about a month ago when I attempted to place an order on my way home from work. The gentleman hung up on me? 😳 Confused... but pretty sure listing my toppings couldn't have upset anyone, I just went to the store and ordered there. Then last week I again ordered on my way home, the gentleman told me it would be about 15-20 mins. I arrived at the store in about 10mins going directly from work and just thought I would wait, however, he rudely commented on my arriving early and then the woman making my pizzas was very rude? Today I thought I would try again realizing they are very busy on Tuesdays...even though I was still feeling like I was on an episode of Seinfeld. He asked what I wanted and as I was trying to tell him he kept saying, "what do you want, repeatedly? I politely said I was trying to to tell him...however I am just done with their poor service and hostile employees. I'll take my business where it's appreciated. Sad, it's good pizza but it's not okay to treat people that way and no pizza...
Read moreOnce again I'm sorry to say, they screwed up my order.....3 times in one visit.
Ordered one item, it was rung up incorrectly. When I asked where my order was, (I was there the entire time waiting) they tried to give me the wrong pizza.
When they looked at the ticket, they found that the correct item had been voided and something else put in it's place. When I showed them what happened they asked what the original order was!!! It was printed right on the receipt.
They then remade the order and apologized profusely, until I pointed out that it still wasn't correct. Finally just took what was there and left. This is a common thing here at this particular store.
I have brought up issues to the owner in the past, and was first given excuses, then attitude.
In my opinion the problems at this location rest squarely on the owner and his wife.
I would try a different location, but they are all owned by the same couple, at least the ones close to my area.
