This wonderful Sheboygan eclectic tavern that serves libations and wonderful food, From the first sip of tap draft beer the clean glass, the sweet taste of CLEAN BEER LINES, PERFECTLY chilled glass of beer makes this old boy smile inside! every visit Eric & his wonderful wife treat us like regulars! Spot on great customer service, with a touch of personal service and fun chatting about our (6) degrees of separation ! And the theory is so true from past & former associates, acquaintances, friends in the business, all ring true! That said possibly the one of the absolute best burgers in Sheboygan, Friday fish fry is yummy! And the Home made French fries a must have with any meal is delicious and Done right! soaked in cold fresh water rinsed of the terrible taste of starch. There NOT doused in seasoned salt, just PURE pleasure in every bite, We have only tried a limited variety of offerings but plan to go over many other food offerings. Where do I start. The owners are the best! Mandy and Eric (husband and wife) are two of the most kind, and warm hearted owners you could ask for in a pub business. They make you feel welcome and like family ( the good family members) soon after meeting you. They always remember your name. The pub is inviting, clean, very historic and the atmosphere is fantastic. Their patrons love and support them and it shows. Where else can you find the two owners running a pub 7 days a week. The food is excellent! Beth is the only cook on staff and does a great job of putting out some fantastic food. And the cheese curds!!! OMG! I have eaten a lot of them and hands down theirs are the best !! It was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so thankful that I went. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the fun atmosphere, the great food and most importantly, the warm welcome from the owners. Our bartender was extremely personable, served amazing drinks, and recruited us as unofficial family in 20 minutes. Unbeknownst to us, our bartender was also the owner of the establishment. The Silver Fern is a husband wife duo serving the area for 20+ years. You can rest assured the person serving you amazing drinks, delicious fresh food, and keeping you engaged in a fun conversation has vested interest in making your experience top notch.
