Find a different Coney Island with better customer service. They don’t care about their customers, only care about the money. I’ll be reporting them to the better business bureau for theft if I don’t receive my refund within the week.
Put an order in, they forgot the entree. When I called to get my food she said she didn’t charge me for it (but they got all my side items? Ok..) so in order to get my chicken she wanted to charge me again. So you’re telling me I just paid $12 plus $2 tip for a carry out order of a small cup of soup and a side salad? As politely as I could manage I told her that’s not right. Then this lady is really trying to argue with me after HER mistake? Tells me she has to call the owner to see what he says about it.
At this point I just asked for a full refund, to which she said she had to call the owner for as well. What a joke! Give me my food or my refund for your own mistake! Now here I am 2 hours later, still dont have my food, no refund, and no call back!! Am I being unreasonable here?
Move that lady to the kitchen or fire her. She has no business talking to customers and treating them this way. And I’ve been a manager in customer service for over 12 years. You don’t give attitude to your customers especially after your...
Read moreCalled in a large online order for lunch for coworkers and myself today, added up the totals from website and was told a total that matched our math for all the food we ordered, when receiving the order however we did not receive 2 orders of chili cheese fries, and 4 coneys short. Called up to let them know (granted we were not Karens about it, just wanted it made right) and was told that we did not order those items....when our total from the website matched the total they charged it did not make sense that we did not order the items....so asked to speak with the manager, Maria, who became combative and defensive over the phone when we asked why the totals matched what we ordered she told us that the prices on the website are not the same as what they actually charge. So is that false advertising then? Very confusing. Sad because we like the food and place large orders quite frequently that they are now going to lose that business over a couple orders of french fires and...
Read moreThis used to be an enjoyable place to eat, but the food and service have gone downhill. Last week, my wife and I ordered apple and blueberry pie a la mode. When the waitress brought us our pie without any ice cream on it, my wife informed her that we ordered it a la mode. The waitress then responded: "We don't have that kind. We only have apple, cherry and blueberry." We had to explain to her what "a la mode" means--even though it's printed on the menu. Tonight I ordered a Michigan salad, which is supposed to include walnuts. Well, if there were any walnuts in my salad, they were the invisible kind. Meanwhile, my waitress never offered me a refill on my decaf coffee. When she brought me my bill, I ordered a slice of apple pie (they were out of blueberry) and requested a refill on my coffee. She brought me the pie and an updated bill--but my coffee refill never came. The restaurant was not very busy at the time. Just another poorly trained and incompetent...
