To be in need of food and not many places open for business due to weather, you find bocelli to be open, from their Facebook page, you look at the menu and when u get to puck up your order find it to be 50$..... this is for two people. You look over the menu you have from their Facebook page and nothing on this menu is right but have nothing else to go off of expecting to pay around 30 something to find a complete shock of this bill. And no one in the restaurant would even give the time or day to look at what we see. Then to find a 6% surcharge for take out... I mean your a business you want people to come in and take home. That is how you make money. But to surcharge. Really. I will not come back here in the future. The cost of your product ypu sell should already take into account your expenses that come thru the business. It's a basic principle of being in business. Not trying to get more money out of your customers. When clearly you do not keep your menus up to date. And just charge whatever ypu want regardless of what a customer sees..... there are laws that protect against that and being retail I know...
Read moreThere are many things that go into a restaurant outside of the quality of food. One of this things is customer service. This is where this place absolutely is abysmal. They’re very rude. They’re not customer friendly at all. They are constantly out of menu items.!if you would like to place an order for pick up.. it’s advised that you start calling a few days ahead of time. They NEVER answer the phone. I have had this happen on several occasions. When asked about it I was told it was so busy that multiple people were trying to get through at the same time. Keep in mind this was for 65 minutes. Lets be honest..this is a restaurant in a small rural town. We’re not giving away tickets on the radio here. The lines aren’t jammed with hundreds of people calling in.You took the phone of the hook. Here’s a thought.. instead of closing for a week to “reset” your business and change the menu.. figure out the customer service aspect of things. You’ve just lost another customer.. Read moreI dined in on Thursday 1/16/25 around 6:00 pm. I have dined in many times and always enjoyed my experience and food. This visit was not a wonderful experience as usual. I understand that they get busy but there were only about 3 tables of people dining in. Take out service was clearly the priority that evening. The staff was great but we waited about 40 minutes for our appetizer and an hour or more for our entrees. While waiting we saw multiple pickup orders. It became very apparent that take out orders were priority over dine in customers. I understand most income is made from take out but this was not a pleasant experience unfortunately. This review is not meant to be hurtful in any way. As I said the staff was very friendly and I’m sure it was just an off night. I hope this review will help bocellis understand that dine in customers are just as important as take out. I will return at some point of cours! Just thought I’d drop this here to share...
