Venture Vape and Smoke Lounge — Local services in Shelbyville

First off let me start by saying wow!! This place was great. I went to Venture Vapors on 1/30/16 and had a great time. They were having a cloud comp and giveaways to support KSFA. I've never been in a cloud comp so I gave it a try and won 1st place. The people were great staff was awesome and it was a very fun event. Now let me give you the rundown on my experience. The place is about the size of your average vape shop plenty of walking room a few display cases and a tasting bar. All that accompanied by a tv and some spots to sit and relax. The first thing that makes this place stand out is they have their test juices in sub-ohm tanks and the little vape pen testers which makes it much easier to choose the flavors you like(The only place I have seen do this). They had a public bathroom as well its just nice to see that they are trying to meet the customers needs. The restroom was clean and stocked also a plus. Product at venture vapors was decent I don't expect any vape shop to have a selection like a warehouse and what they had was nice. RDA's GOT EM!! Batteries GOT EM!! Juice selection GOT IT!! Holy Cow, Beard and More!! SUB TANKS Check Mate!! Rewards Program WHAT WHAT!! I just want to touch up on something for James Wilbern. Your right they dont have 24mg or even 18mg But Walmart isn't going to stock lawn gnomes either just because 3 people want one. Subtanks are the major market now James. Vape 18mg out of a subtank and you will see why they don't stock it. I have been vaping for around 5 years now, and have been to quite a few vaping shops, tasted quite a few juices, and I must say that venture vapors is by far the worst vaping shop I have ever been to. the employees are not too friendly, there selection of juices is awful, and to top it all off they don't even carry 18mg or 12mg nicotine in 99% of there juices, never have I been to a vaping shop that mostly only go's to 6mg. the juices they have all lack flavor and ones that do have flavor have a rather awful perfume taste to them, and to make matters worse out of the 3 juices I got from them all 3 destroyed my coil and I had to replace it.

there tasting lounge is also terrible, as the table is too large and it ends up becoming a unrelaxing experience struggling to reach juices to taste, and I have long arms so its not me, there shop is mostly empty and lacks interior design.

they also lack basic name brand vaping equipment.

to finish off my review I will say this, it seems like this shop was opened up by a couple of young people who know nothing about vaping and only started vaping because they thought it was cool so they opened up a vaping shop that they don't know how to run properly, if I could go lower then a one...

My fiancé wanted to quit smoking cigarettes and transition into vaping but was not an expert in doing so. They were recommended to him to try for information about vaping. We went in and the employees and the owners were extremely helpful and informative as they were allowed to be. They helped him get set up and even showed him how to change parts. Fast forward a week later, the batteries burned up his mod. We took everything back and they exchanged it with no hassle or issue and told us if that one didn't work to come back in and we would figure it out. Extremely pleased with the amount of customer service they provide. You can not get that type of service anywhere now. It's a breath of air. We are unfortunately moving out of state now but I would always recommend this shop to anyone....
