If there was a way to do negative stars, this would be it. Not only was this order canceled the first time without allowing for proper time to respond and help the driver, which we have NEVER had a problem before, but they canceled it and proceeded to tell me that I was not that important of a delivery and others were in more need for their food than I was. On top of that, I had to re order the food, which prices changed and I ended up paying more, but then the driver was the same as last time, even with clearn delivery instructions written in, he couldn't find the place and proceeded to be completely rude, unprofessional, and yelling at me on the phone. He wanted me to go outside to find and flag him down to show him where I was, even though it was below 10 degrees, with snow on the ground, and this order was coordinated for my elderly mother who isn't very quick to move downstairs. He was extremely abrasive and and treating me like I was stupid even when he was provided clear instructions. I finally got him to the front of the complex where he spoke down to me after adamantly wanting to cancel my order for the SECOND time and upset that I directed him to turn around and very easily placed him at the building where it was located on the directions. From there, he was even more pissed off it was a third floor apartment even though it was noted as well. When he did park to start delivering he was aggressively putting the groceries down making a lot of noise. I'm so glad I didn't have to get her any eggs because he would've broken them. Not to say her water might be leaking by morning. But she said he was extremely rude when she opened the door and felt like he was ready to start yelling at her. She felt very uncomfortable with him. If Kroger wasn't the closest grocery store to her, which is normally actually decent, I'd never shop there and I'd certainly make it widely known for no one to ever use them. I'm extremely upset with this experience of the driver and the customer service I got the first time they canceled and told me I wasn't important and I worry for her future ability to get food when I can't be there, especially when...

Had ordered some of their cooked chicken which is pretty good most of the time however order some macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes that I wouldn’t even give to my dog. They serve their food until it is literally gone !!!! They don’t care how bad it is , or how nasty it is or how old it is!!! The potatoes were so old they were browned literally even though they put gravy on them they were horrible. I took one bite and threw them in the trash. The macaroni and cheese was so hard you can’t even chew it. As in it was dried out.Again it went into the trash. People pay the same price for this food ! you need to serve fresh food if you’re going to cook the food and Sale it!!! Stop serving old nasty food. I don’t think potatoes cost that much you would’ve took a loss if you threw them in the trash where they Clearly belonged,same with the macaroni and cheese. While I’m at it your chickens that you serve , 2 for 10, Used to be really good and large pieces now they’re getting scrawny. Yes no more deli food from Kroger.
