Are you going through Shelton for clam digging? Passing through to the casino? Just on a drive through beautiful Mason County? STOP HERE, ITS FRICKIN AMAZING. I drive through Shelton to commute home 2 times a week. I've never really seen much of the down town area..BOY DID I MESS UP. The staff? Kind, willing to make any needed changes, and efficient. Double bonus the chef that is making pizza right in front of you if you sit in the downstairs area. Nothing like real time feedback to know if folks like your product. You can tell he really cares. We aren't typically appetizers people but we got the gnocchi tappa and would 110% do it again. My husband described it as a cheese curd on crack and I cant disagree. Plus their marinara dipping sauce has real chunks of tomato. The pizza we ordered had all fresh ingredients. Fresh pineapple, fresh jalapeño, and pull apart cheese that doesn't get all gross once it cools off. Our pizza was hot out of the oven and had a great crispy crust. We fought over the last piece. We will be back. Trust me, take the 2 extra seconds, ignore google maps and go straight to this pizza place in Shelton. You won't be disappointed!

We stopped in for an early lunch at eleven and they were just opening despite they're google map hours showing closed. It appears they are now open 7 days a week! First, the atmosphere is great. They have a family dining style space below, in the same space the wood fire oven is in, and a more intimate seating area upstairs that also has a bar, which looks like the perfect spot for a date night. Our waitress was friendly and helpful as well which always goes a long way with me. For food we got the sweet wings which were very flavorful and the shrimp which my wife and son loved. I ate the pepperoni pizza which probably was enough for my son and I to split after having apps. You're probably best to order your own though if you're a big eater unlike me. The pizza was great. Super soft crust, loaded with cheeses, and a hint of the burned charred goodness! The Mrs got the mutton buster pizza and said it was delicious! She thinks she tasted a hint of curry. Calls it unique but flavorful! We absolutely will be back and we're grateful for another great addition to the Shelton restaurant scene!

I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with extra sauce and it was burnt. I told the waitress that it looked burnt and she said it's because it's a wood fired pizza. I go to take a slice and it's limper than a wet noodle and the crust is less than 1/8th of an inch thick. I'm not sure if they gave the frozen dough enough time to thaw. I looked at the bottom and sure enough, also burnt. I know some people like a charred pizza but I just don't and gave it back. My friend also ordered a Hawaiian too but to go, which they made awhile after mine. She took a quick peek and it wasn't burnt at all but when she took it out of the box at home, it had no pineapple on it. She got a hummus plate and the bread was burnt but rubbery/gummy in the middle. Seems like it's all being cooked at too high a temp and could maybe do longer and lower temp so the inside of the dough and breads get cooked without burning first. I'm sure they'll iron out the kinks eventually but I'm not inspired to go back.

The worst Pizza in Shelton! A total waste of our money. Crust was overstretched, "completely" raw in the middle and soggy, soaking in Greece. Would not even hold the sparse toppings. They fell right off. When we took our time, gas and returned the pizza to the restaurant and showed the manager she refused to make it right, stating that this is the way our pizza is served, "quote" it's always raw and soggy in the middle, stating that that is their recipe and that is Wood fired Pizza. And that is the way they have and always serve it. She would take no responsibility for their mistakes. Or even admit that their mistakes were mistakes. Made no attempt to win us over as new customers. I have had Wood fired Pizza many times and love it, I have never experienced anything as awful as that pizza was. Fully admitting that that was "their" undercooked Pizza yet refused to give us our money back. The whole pizza ended up in the trash can. No one in our home would eat it. I ended up eating a bowl of cereal instead for dinner. A terrible product and terrible customer service is not welcome in Shelton. Too bad, I had high hopes for this new place. PS. Our pizza looked nothing like the nice ones in the photographs. Highly recommend going...

I like to wait about 2 or 3 times before I give a place a review.

Service was great this time, last two times it was lackluster however the server that greeted me was very nice and didn't just let me sit there waiting as she walked by me. This was the highlight of the trip.

The atmosphere was top notch too, its a bank from the 1900's, of course the vibes were right. Very chill atmosphere. Good setting.

I've now gone 3 times to try the pizza, hoping each time it would get a little better, and to be fair this was a lot better than the last two times but it was very average. I'd say its a very 6/10 pizza. Nothing that is gonna make you say wow, but you also won't be like "this is awful". They have other menu items I believe that look a lot better, so this is going virtually all on pizza and pizza alone. I'd say it was a very average pie.

So if you're hungry and want to skip the monotony that is chain pizza stop by and grab a slice, its a 6/10 in general but probably the best pizza you'll be able to get here in this town hands down. Quality has gotten a lot better since it first opened, so i'm looking forward to coming back when I make my...
