Westside Pizza — Restaurant in Shelton

Usually their pizza is made pretty well and the service is pretty friendly! however, I went in yesterday and a heavy set man with dark hair helped me, who seemed perturbed and agitated and was not very friendly at all...he seemed cold and distant and detached...he overcharged me and then denied me condiments saying i had to pay for them when I have never been charged for them before. it took about 25 minutes for the pizza to be made, which is not a big deal, but then after I left when I opened the box it was small and did not look like a large pizza, there was no sauce on the pizza, and there was next to No toppings at all...they were paper thin......it was small enough that I could eat the whole thing myself...and I normally cant do that! ...

When Westside pizza first opened they were fantastic. They had the best crust and the toppings went almost to the edge. I ordered to special pizzas yesterday and they were terrible. The sausage Alfredo had barely anything on it and no toppings 1 & 1/2 inch away from the edge. The crust wasn't edible because it would break your teeth off, they may have forgotten the sauce (so dry). The second was a pep,saug and pineapple light on the jalapenos. Same with nothing almost 2 inches from the edge of the crust. It seems, they mistook light for heavy jalapeno. I spend for ever picking of jalapenos. I am in the middle of moving. None of us ate more than 1 slice.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. They answered our [excessive number of] questions. The pizza had enough options to make it feel versatile but not diluted. For the food, I was most impressed by the crust, the foundation upon which pizza is built, as it was the right amount of breadiness and crisp without losing edibility to crunchy or chewy.

The only problem was that the arcade cabinets were running at less than 100%. I'm not saying that all pizzarias need to have arcade cabinets, but having been raised in the 90s I will ruthlessly condemn their absence. So for now, this place gets 5/5, but if they manage to get the arcade cabinets working, we might see that actually...
