I had such high hopes for this bakery when I walked in. Unfortunately the breakfast sandwich left a lot to be desired. It was dry toast, a dry scrambled egg square, and cheese that never made it to the melting point. My husband’s Asiago bagel egg and cheese sandwich at least had some flavor (Asiago). Disappointed also that there was no espresso machine. On the plus side, their cake in the bakery case looked so cute and it’s in a pretty building.

Very neat place. The waitress was not happy to be at work. The food was cold, and we were first customers of the day.

A Rough Start, But I’m Still Rooting for Them. The food looked delicious... I wish I got to have some.

I want to start by saying I genuinely hope this place succeeds. It’s a new restaurant, and I know those early months are tough. But leadership and organization are key—and unfortunately, both were clearly lacking during our visit for Mother’s Day brunch.

We had a reservation for 9:30 AM but were ask to wait a bit before being seated. Thats not a big delay, but it set the tone for a morning that consistently felt mismanaged.

After being seated, we waited five minutes just to receive a DRINK menu, and another five before our drink order was taken. We ordered three orange juices—they arrived warm and inconsistently poured. Small detail, but it reflects the broader issue: a lack of care and coordination. We then got our food menus after getting our drinks.

We placed our food order by 9:50, yet by 10:15, two tables seated after us had already received their meals—including one with the exact same order as mine (I overheard the waiter asking who ordered the “Meathead”). At 10:30, I approached staff to ask about our food. Two team members said they’d check and get back to me, but no one did. After five more minutes, we decided to leave.

We left cash on the table for our drinks and walked out.

There were bright spots. Three different staff members checked in on us throughout the hour, and they were friendly and clearly working hard. But that only added to the confusion—who was actually our server? No one seemed to know whose responsibility each table was.

I dont belive this restaurant is understaffed—they have about 11 tables total (7–8 inside, 2–3 outside), and I counted at least 3-4 front-of-house staff. What they’re lacking is organization and clear leadership. There were moments when customers walked in and waited in vain for a host to greet them before giving up and leaving. A table behind us was trying to pay and didn’t know where or how to do it—and no one came to help.

Again, I want this place to do well. The staff is trying. But for now, I’ll give it time before returning. I hope things improve, because there’s clearly potential here—just not the execution. The food did look very delicious on the...

Been here before, great service, food, atmosphere & price. But today Sunday Aug. 4th 2025 was a disaster. Pls try this place as I felt it was a "one-off". I saw people enter and seat themselves and wait but after no service left. I saw this happen twice. As for us, we entered around 11:00 a.m. but did not leave until 1:00 p.m. because of a severe lack of service. I believe we waited an hour or close to it. My friend got up to get the forks and spoons and napkins to set the table. I finally had to go up to the counter and I let the lady know I grew up in a restaurant so I know these things happen but we still had not been served, order not taken and others had entered and seated and have been served. There were no coffee refills, although a waitress would come out to refill other tables and we literally hollered coffee please. Having grown up at a restaurant, I felt I recognized the problem, although I might be wrong. I felt there was a lack of communication amongst the servers, order-takers, etc. in today's work environment, I believe managers have a harder time finding employees that want to work. There was one that never smiled and seemed slightly nervous. Or maybe I misjudged that expression and it was one of those expressions, 'I don't want to be here." The sense I got was that this day was overwhelming, for whatever reason. I saw a large group come in and immediately leave. At that point I felt that if I worked there I would put a closing sign on the door because the situation was already overwhelming. Again, maybe too many people called off sick today, whatever the reason was, if you were there today and this happened to you, I would like to ask you to give the place another chance because I've been there more than once and it was perfect. Also, I have empathy and sympathy and concern for anyone opening a restaurant and staffing a restaurant. If at any moment you think it should be simple then I'm here to let you know that you are very wrong. Please give this place another chance if you were there today. It was a one-off. I know this place to be a better place, but in this instance there was no way to give more...

We made a reservation for 9 almost a week in advance. Table was ready for us, but it took a long time to get drinks or really even an acknowledgment once seated. Took even longer to get menus, and then were only given 2 menus for all 9 of us to share….most of us had to look it up online.

Took an hour and a half to get our food, and then one of us didn’t even get our food until 20 minutes after that.

Staff were all incredibly young, seemed inconvenienced when we asked for more water, napkins, etc.

When I went up to pay, I could see into the kitchen and one of the staff had a Top Ramon cup of noodles sitting on the food prep bench.

Overall, food was alright, but the atmosphere and service were not what you...
