If I described the Pony in one word, it is adequate. I have no major complaints, but nothing to rave about. The service is polite and friendly, but scripted at times. I believe they do tip share, so service seems impersonal. Bar drinks are...adequate. It seems a couple people actually know their way around a bar, but I have never witnessed a dedicated bartender. I usually get a barrage of different employees checking on me and don't know my server is. I rarely experience an attempt to make connection with me as a customer
Food is...adequate. I have had some menu items that do stand out to me. I enjoy the daily specials. The options are versions of classic suburban American meals and bar foods. The atmoshere is usually bustling, pleasant, and they have enclosed outdoor patio seating.
If you are going out with a group, this is a good option, and they are one of the few places open on a monday night in the area. I will keep coming here because it is convenient and reasonably priced. With all this said, I might expect a different experience than some customers. As a bachelor working a lot and rarely home to cook for myself, I tend to eat out alone a lot. I like to talk to people, make friends and have conversations that surpass small talk. Opportunities for social life are very limited, so I rely on lunch and dinner to socialize. To me, when I sit at a bar, I want to be a little entertained. Make me feel like you know me, or want to know me. Make me feel like family and give me a good reason...

Read moreWe ate here on a Friday night in February. It was really busy but the service we received was exceptional. Sky initially helped us and gave us some recommendations for drinks. We didn’t see a drink menu but based on what we like see gave great suggestions for a martini and Guinness beer. My husband and I were both very happy. We had several servers attempt to take our order. We needed extra time, thankfully they were accommodating. Alyssa ended up taking our order and again we were given suggestions on what to order. She knew the menu well even though she said she has only worked there for about a week. Unfortunately my palate cannot handle any spice and Alyssa was very helpful with that. My husband and I both ordered burgers, the Jammin Bacon and Bacon Blue Jack. Both were delicious although my husband thought the bacon jam was too sweet for the burger. I loved it! My only suggestion would be for servers to have their own tables. We have been here several times and it has always been great. It just feels like you are so rushed when multiple people are asking for your order and wanting to help you constantly. Sky and Alyssa both made it clear we could take our time but it still had the same feeling of being rushed, though overall it was wonderful! Kudos to...
