I have ordered from Gourmet for Good multiple times in a few of the offices I have worked in. The delivery driver has never asked who the order was for, as we are in a locked office building and I put clear instructions on the order. The driver, named Rick, gets to the floor and begins to look me up and down in confusion and ask me who I am. This was odd, but I figured that maybe he didn't see that the order was for me. I stated my name and he stated that the order said it was for someone else. I proceeded to explain that the payment method was someone else's card in the office, but the order was for me and he was in the correct office. He would not accept this answer and continued to push for information. Mind you, I am one of the only African Americans in my office. After repeating the information to him multiple times, he finally set the order down rudely, used the bathroom and left the building. He proceeded to call my coworker and confirm that she knew who I was and that the order was delivered. AGAIN, we are in a locked building. I am the one that let him on to our floor, so clearly I am an employee. Once my coworker and I were able to combine our experiences and get a clear picture, I called Gourmet for Good and expressed my concerns. They were less than helpful and stated that they have a courier service that delivers their orders and would "talk to the courier". An apology was expressed, but other than that, I have not heard back from them with a follow-up on my complaint nor am I confident that anything was done to resolve this issue. I will not be using their catering service again, as I feel extremely disrespected and unheard. I am posting this so that anyone else who might not "fit the mold" of what Gourmet for Good believes is their clientele does not use their service and have to deal with the same heartbreaking...
Read moreI used Gourmet for Good for a catered professional work event that hosted 45 attendees. The entire process from calling to inquire about dishes to delivery/set-up was very satisfactory. GFG had great customer service: I spoke with a knowledgeable representative every time I called and was never put on a wait to hear from someone. GFG was also very responsive, following up with estimates and an invoice shortly after each call. Additionally, the service/food quality day-of was perfect. I asked for a delivery between 4:00 and 4:15 and the delivery arrived at 4:06. Set-up took some time, given that we had 5 full trays of food as well as salads and dessert, but the delivery person worked very efficiently. The food was amazing!! I got many compliments on it. We ordered the spring fling and baked tortellini. I like that these meals included rolls, salad, and dessert so I could feel confident that everyone would have plenty to eat. I took extra desserts home and they were just as good the next day! I would definitely order from GFG in the future for a...

They are always quick to respond and answer in questions. They are very accommodating, whether it's dietary or a last minute addition, they're answer always seems to be that it's not a problem.
Everyone is very professional, it doesn't matter who answer the phone or your email, you will receive they same service. The delivery/pickup personnel are equally professional. They deliver to our office and customer offices and it's always been a smooth and effortless process.
Last, but certainly not least is the food and it's simply delicious! Gourmet for Good has done both boxed and buffet lunches for our company and everyone always seems to enjoy it. Whether boxed or buffet they never skimp on the food, you're never left wanting more. The seasonal menu is awesome, there is always something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Club Croissant boxed lunch. If I know someone is attending the lunch, but didn't send in the order I will order them a Club Croissant.
Thank you...
