A friend of my who grew up in this area of North Texas suggested City Limits if I wanted a good burger…since most of my reviews are about burgers I have it a try and was glad I did. I arrived just before 2:00 on a Saturday and there was quite the lunch crowd. Since I was by myself, I opted to sit at the bar but the folks ahead of me in line were promptly seated within a few minutes and a group of six came in shortly after that and were seated fairly quickly. I ordered a bacon burger with no cheese and fries. They did not offer Sweet Tea which I think should be a staple for any casual restaurant in Texas so I opted for the next best thing, a Dr Pepper. Had I felt like drinking something with a little more bite, they Ajax a pretty good selection of drinks from the bar. My burger came out in a reasonable time. While waiting, I couldn’t help but notice how many of the patrons were regulars and how personable the waitresses and other staff were with each visitor. Very friendly place!! My burger was well seasoned and just right! Lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions and mustard came standard. Fries were thick cut seasoned fries. Very good! The ladies at the bar were very attentive, to me and made sure I had plenty of refills while taking care of lots of drink orders. The only negative was the bar stools were a little short for the bar. It made it a little awkward picking up a burger and taking a bite and I am pretty tall. The guy next to me ordered a beer and spilled it for the same reason. Just slightly awkward. I would recommend City Limits to anyone in the area or passing through!! Next time, I think I will try their chicken strips, they looked mouth...

Giving one star BECAUSE I HAVE TO...wont let me give 0. On Sunday November 20, 2022 around 11:30 am my family of 5 and my daughter's service dog walked in. We got seated (girl did ask if dog was a Service dog, which we said yes) and had drinks brought to us. While looking at the menu, the family sitting next to us went to the owner Denny to complain that "we had a dog". Denny then came to our table to tell us we can not have our dog in the restaurant. And "we were making families leave his restaurant ". We said it is our daughter's Service dog. He kept asking if it was for blind or deaf, and also asking for our papers. Both of which are illegal. He yelled where is the dog? Umm under the table quietly as she should be! He told us to get our "dog" and GET OUT. Yes he was mad and yelling. We walked out. My husband brought in papers (which we do not have to show) like he asked to see...and then he wouldn't look at them. He didn't care. We were also in this restaurant eating in Aug. with the service dog and everything was fine. The owner of the training facility called him to explain and offered to send the ADA law to him. He kept telling her you can only have a German shephard, lab, or retriever. (Not true), and only for blind or deaf (not true). He hung up on her :( . All of this created a medical issue with my daughter. Denny was very wrong, rude, and humiliated us. I would not want this to happen to another person or family. It is illegal to kick a...

I was impressed. Very unassuming on the outside, but, WOW, once you get inside. I came on a bustling, Sunday, afternoon and it was packed. Self seating, but there is plenty of seats out of eyes view, around the corner. Plus, they buss their own tables, so, they are motivated to get it done faster. Carly, was my server. I could see before she even greeted me that she was going to be good. She was moving fast, bussing tables, taking orders and greeted me in a very timely manner. She was super friendly, peppy and knowledgeable. First, they have Coke Zero, that's a big one for me! I asked about the 'soup of the day', chicken enchilada, and she offered to bring me a sample. A SAMPLE! It was DELICIOUS! I had the 'half soup 1/2 salad' I ate the entire 'cup', which was really a bowl! And the '1/2 SALAD' filled an entire large togo box! The homemade ranch was to-die-for too! I know soup and salad isn't much, but they out did themselves! I will be back and bringing my family! Thank you for a great first experience! It's refreshing to get such...

Our rating still stands pat at 5 across the board. We had stopped visiting since Cheyenne and Bailey quit bartending. They always made us feel so at home and like family. Well, MASSIVE THANK YOU to ownership for finding OUR new Cheyenne and Bailey. Sunday we met Ashley and Asia and we once again felt like we were back home at the bar. They kept us smiling and laughing during our visit, even if it took Asia filling her shoes with some spilled juice from the freezer. :) We're back to being regulars!! Jeff and Eva
