We come from California and it was our first time eating there it was a poor service they didn’t even welcome us or say anything I had to ask them were do we order and there like give me a second I take the menu to ur table after 10 minutes were there and then we order and they brought the food and they give my son a burn fries and my husband said why are the fries are burn can we get other one and the lady I don’t if she the owner but she said o there like that we can’t change them I was like ok whatever and they brought me the tortillas when we were done eating I was really upset and there 2 boys just standing around and laughing and bad service . If your not going to attend you costumers don’t even bother to open restaurants because remember costumers are the ones that they give us work and with out them we wouldn’t have work at all. La Ranchera is one of the best Mexican food restaurants my wife and I have visited. We have been yearning for some huevos rancheros. We had spent time during the snow vortex in Knox Indiana. There is one Mexican restaurant in the small town which I will withhold name as to not harm anyone. Moving on to Indianapolis, there are several Mexican restaurants.
La Ranchera has a variety of food that will please any palate that is wanting good home Mexican cooking. We got there about 11:00 am on a Sunday. We sat down and ordered. Soon thereafter, the crowd getting out from church began to arrive. Anyway, We will definitely go back for more.

My family & I have been here a few times & this was the 1st time ever getting bad service. We had a young female waiter who did not provide good customer service. She did not greet us at anypoint, I said hi to her when she walked up to our table & she did not say hi back, she never smiled at all, she never checked on us, if we needed something we constantly had to ask her, even then she seemed annoyed. She did check on the other tables, so I'm not sure what here issue with our table of 3 was? It's a good place with good food. I would still recommend this place.
