Mochi’s Boba Tea Cafe — Restaurant in Sherman

As a Boba fanatic, I do recommend Mochi's Boba Tea Cafe for your boba over any other location in Sherman Tx. as of 08/2025. The shop is ran by a husband and wife duo, and I didn't think to grab their names! They were kind from the start, once we walked in we were greated and not rushed to order at all. They were patient and explained how they could make the drink I ordered (Strawberry Matcha) as I had a special request! They are new, and there's always room for growth! The atmosphere is so cozy. It's a calm, and quite room. (It is small, so if you bring in a big crowd, it of course would be loud.) The decorations are super cute. There's Pokémon boba specialty teas! (Also super cute Pokémon hair clips) There is a wall for your cats pictures! You are also able to donate towards helping cats upon checking out if you so choose!

Now the tea!🤌🏼 My husband ordered the lychee fruit tea with raspberry pops (which I didn't think tasted like raspberry at all, but was still good.) He loved it, said it was flavorful but gentle not over powering! I ordered the strawberry matcha 1/2 sweetness. I personally think the tea needed way more matcha, because it taste like strawberry milk with strawberry pops. You can't hardly tell there's matcha in it except when it settles. That being said it is still VERY GOOD! the drink itself is delicious!

Be in mind this is a new business. A new journey for them as well as us the community, and we should remember that if you don't speak to them about a problem & or a preference you may have they will never be able to correct it or adjust whatever it may be. 4/5 because the owners were nice, present, and tentative when I had questions! My husbands boba isn't my cup-a-tea, but he loves it! He is so happy! I loved my boba, just wanted more matcha! & out of the other 5 options that offer boba this place beats them all! I’ve had my fair share of boba teas, but this one set a new gold standard. From the very first sip, the balance was flawless — a milk tea base that was creamy and smooth, yet carried the deep, aromatic richness of freshly brewed black tea. No chalky powder taste, no over-the-top sugar rush — just a velvety drink with a satisfying tea kick.

The pearls (or tapioca, for the purists) were simply perfection. Cooked to that elusive QQ texture — tender on the outside, delightfully chewy in the center — they were infused with just the right amount of brown sugar sweetness. Absolutely love this place! The drinks are phenomenal — you can really taste the quality and care in every cup. My go-to is the Sugar Daddy (Brown sugar milk tea) — it’s rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. The boba is always fresh and perfectly chewy too! 🧋Today I decided to have their Mangonada 🥭 and it was phenomenal! Sweet with a very nice amount of spice from the chamoy and Tajin. 🌶️

What makes this spot even better is that it’s a new, family-owned business. You can really feel the passion and pride they put into everything — from the drinks to the atmosphere. They’re not just making boba, they’re building something meaningful, and it shows.
