Cooper Mountain Ale Works Old Town Sherwood — Restaurant in Sherwood

We have been to Cooper Mountain's Tigard location a number of times and always had great brews and food. Living in Sherwood we were very excited when they announced their new location here. We stopped by for lunch on Friday and had another great meal. I'm a big fan of their English Special Bitters and Kolsch and had them both for lunch. My wife loves their hefeweizen. For food we shared a 10" pig and peppers pizza and the roasted root vegetables salad. Both were excellent, prepared and presented exceptionally well. Wanted to give this place a try on 4/18 but was politely turned away at the door because they “ran out of food”.

Gave them a second try 4/25 and I regret it. They were out of burgers which is about a quarter of the menu. Brought the wrong order for one of the kids. Had to refire a pizza because the first one “stuck to the oven”. Put onions on a salad despite ordering it without.

The bites we had were tasty but way too many mistakes and I don’t get “running out of food” two Fridays in a row, especially ground beef.

Overpriced to boot. Can’t see us giving this place a third try. Hope they figure it out because it’s clearly a struggle...

UPDATED It is hands down my favorite place for beer and food. I can't say enough about this place. So much detail in flavor in their beer... and their food. If I had disposable income I would go here everyday multiple times a day. The folks that work there are super cool and friendly to boot!

Heads and tails past the previous perveyor! So far I've had the BBQ burger, Cajun chicken sandwhich and their loaded waffle fries. Oh so good!!! And their beer... sooooooo yummy. They seem high priced at first glance, but the ingredients they use are top notch. I definitely will be visiting...
