Sherwood School District — Local services in Sherwood

Hi, I will just post a letter that I wrote to Miranda from Edy Ridge School in Sherwood. Miranda and thier staff and Middleton Elementary principle and staff are extremely incredible. I will be writing a letter to Kate Brown, and telling her how they all have gone above and beyond to assist. Especially, during this crisis of Covid-19. Please, hear me out, and take the time to read and if your planning to enroll your child or currently have them attending please don't take them for granted. To illustrate, her is the letter.

Miranda and all others,

Sherwood school district is the most incredible district I have ever seen. I'm really sorry for not explaining correctly regarding that aspect. In my mind, it was Gennive and Haven's last district that she attended. When the girls had the recycling bug and I had the Dr notes where specifically it said how to reduce the cycle of bug and not sending them to school. There father and the principle gave me such a hard time, to the point I was sending Gennive to school where she even had diarrhea and pooped all over her pants, and I when I had to pick her up, Amy the administration had me clean thier nurse bed. I even had videos of Gennive throwing up at night. That's how ridiculous it got with thier father and the principle. I have all letter conversations with them and the Dr and can send to you. In no way, you and all your staff has acted that way towards me. You and all have gone above and beyond to assist me, and I count my lucky star blessings that the girls are here with you all. You all need to get recognized for everything you all do. You all understand the concept of family and you always put yourselves in the shoes of others. I will contact the news outlet or write a letter to Kate brown telling her how incredible you all are and how you all are doing everything to reduce the transmission of Covid but most of all compassion, empathy and dedication you give us all. I couldn't be more than grateful to have my daughter's attend the Sherwood school's. Miranda the principal is the most incredible person I have ever came across. Even when I was a child, my own principal would not even come close to her. Miranda is always supportive, and is constantly providing security and a sense of belonging; open communication; and always making sure my girls, and I feel important, valued, respected and esteemed. Overall, she is an empathetic, compassionate individual that goes above and beyond to assist and support the children. I always count my blessings that my girls have the opportunity to attend Sherwood School's. I say this because, I have been in a very tuff situation with my daughter's previous school in Vancouver Washington. Therefore, I never take Sherwood School's district for granted. To this day, I still get very emotional because I'm really blessed to have my daughter's attend. I still haven't covered the other staff! They are also incredible. All the girls in the office are always there with a positive attitude and are always ready to help as much as they can. They return calls/ emails promptly they are very sweet and caring to the children. Both my girls attend different schools, Middleton Elementary and Edy Ridge. You should see their teachers!!! Highly qualified caring teachers, and they have all this amazing school work. I still haven't even covered the program lift that my daughter's is in. It's the most amazing program that I have ever seen in my whole life. I still haven't even covered the speech therapist and the psychologist. They are very highly qualified gals that give superior services...
