Dorada Restaurant & Bar (former 201West) — Restaurant in Shillington

My friend and I were there a few Sat. nights ago for dinner. Asked if we had reservations. I looked around and there were 2 tables taken. Why would we make reservations? After we were seated young gal with attitude came and filled our water glasses. No smile, hello, how are you this evening. Nothing. Next our waitress came and took our drink orders which got smaller since the last time we were there. We ordered scallops which also got smaller since the last time and the "browned butter" that comes with the scallops was black with no taste. This was our third time there and it gets worse every time. The very last experience of the meal was the waitress who gave us the bill. My friend lays down cash and tip and she takes it. A few minutes later she came back with the bill and the cash, places it back on the table and asked for more tip. She said she gets 18-20 % and my friend did not leave enough. I walked into the restaurant for dinner it was 8:00. I was asked if I would like to sit at the bar. I was fine with that and said ok. I was getting ready to be seated when another women walked up and said we stop serving food at 8:00 we are closed. I found this weird because I had eaten here on Saturday . I arrived at 8:00 pm was seated and had a fabulous meal service was really good. If the restaurant is closing early I understand. I was very happy with my dinner the steak dianne,. Was done exactly as ordered and the accompanying sides .garlic potatoes and snap peas were equally good. I loved the mango balsamic salad dressing, it had just enough tang and sweet!! However was very disappointed to see that one of their most popular dishes was not on the menu...the chicken frangellico.
