Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Shillington

I've been ordering takeout and delivery over 20 years from this Pizza Hut. Today I will have to say was the worst experience I ever had at this store or from any food place...... We have a non-verbal autism child and there was another family with a special needs child too there the same time as us. An employee from the back came out and just start yelling at the children as if they were normal children to begin with and had no idea what was going on Anyway!! There was a employee already out there at the counter and there was nothing going on that was wrong. The boy was just looking around the corner of the counter to see if that's where the food was that his parents order for him. Nothing dramatic ... no employee should be yelling at kids to begin with but to be yelling at a special needs child on top of it makes the matter 100 times worse. I've been doing business with this store for over 20 years and never once my family or me were ever disrespectful or disrespected towards from the store till today. This employee stepped out a line and had no right to be yelling, especially with the parents right next to the children. I mean nothing was going on for this employee to be stepping out Line with a special needs child and something needs to be done due to this matter occurred. This store has lost my business permanently because I cannot support a business that treats special needs children and that matter let alone normal children or any disabled person in that matter. .........I called to cancel the order due to this incident.....the store called me back and gave me an attitude because me...

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. Placed my order waited an hour to get it (understandable). When I received my order I received someone else’s order. When I said something to the delivery driver he said he didn’t know and while I was looking for my order confirmation he got in his car and just left. Called Pizza Hut and they told me they could refund me or remake my order, but it would be an hour and a half more to receive it (I even offered to pick it up) when I asked for a refund I was told that the manager was to busy and could not do my refund and she would make a note to remind the manager later to do my refund. When I comes to my money I trust no one. I grabbed the food that was delivered to me and headed to Pizza Hut. When I got there I asked to speak to the manager. The lady went back to get the manager and said “the lady that was on the phone is here looking to speak to you.” Her response was “i told her I’d give her her money back she is going to have to wait” I told them I would wait. When she finally came to talk to me she gave me a hard time and an attitude. Long store short of our conversation she really didn’t want to help me but because I told her I wasn’t leaving without a confirmation of a refund she finally started working on it. Ended up telling me that because they use door dash for delivery now there was not much she can do. I ended up getting my money back. Still walked out...

Not a great experience by far. Waited an hour for an order that I was told would take HALF that time. Then, when the driver arrived, he dropped my breadsticks on the floor of the auto shop I work in. (Think of the floors from mechanics walking in it.) He picked them up and put them on top of my pizza box like nothing happened. You could clearly see, as the bag became soaked with sauce, that it had broke in the fall. He never even offered to take them back!! I paid and still tipped him. My next step was to call the store. I explained what happened and was told I'd be given an in-house credit, one that I clearly explained I would NEVER use. Then I was told I had 30 days to use it. I, again, clearly stated I wouldn't be ordering from their location again, but my payment wasn't refunded, nor even a partial credit for the breadsticks I WON'T BE EATING. If you're going to give me a credit that i'm not going to use, a refund would be the next proper step. Then to top it off! I finally go for a piece of pizza and it's OVERLY GREASY & BURNT.

Thanks for screwing up my lunch.
