Carsons Corner Pizzeria and more — Restaurant in Shorewood

Halloween tends to be one of the busiest nights for pizza joints so I called earlier in the afternoon asking if I could order now for an early evening pickup which they were accommodating to.

Ordered 2 medium pepperoni pizzas, added sausage to one and pineapple to the other. Side/appetizer of garlic bread ordered as well.

Extremely wild weather in the area today so I headed out early to avoid any potential traffic issues. Ended up arriving earlier than the scheduled pickup time so I just waited around the small dining area. Another customer came in and picked up his order. The lone employee was very pleasant, chatted with myself and the other customer before ringing him up. He said mine were in the oven still and was checking on them.

Once they were finished he brought them up front with my garlic bread and completed my transaction. I was in the car and on my way home about 5 minutes before my scheduled time so props on the timing.

Once home I opened the boxes up and was pleased with the looks and aroma coming from the boxes. Both pizzas were exactly as ordered and taste as good as they looked. I prefer a bit more pepperoni on my pizza but that's not to say this amount was lacking, I just like a lot. The sausage had a good flavor and weren't tiny little pieces, which is nice.

I'd have no issues ordering from them again and looking forward to trying other menu...

I asked my husband where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner and this is what he chose. I'm not much of a pizza person because I'm pretty particular about sauce, and ingredients, etc. Well I'm so glad I got forced into this. It was INCREDIBLE. We ordered pepperoni and sausage pizza and a breaded steak sandwich with the peppers on the side. The pizza was the 18" and it was massive. The size of a costco pizza. The slices were cut into small manageable squares. The sauce is good and it was the perfect amount. Not too much and not too little. The sausage chunks are very large. Both the sausage and pepperoni have really great and intense flavor. And the cheese. Loads of cheese. They are not skimping on the toppings here. It really was a fantastic pie. The breaded steak sandwich was enormous. They could not shove anymore steak into that roll if they wanted to. All the flavors hit. The steak is tender and well seasoned. They really knocked it out of the park here. I gotta say, it's the best breaded steak sandwich I've had. If you're a pizza or steak sandwich lover you have to give this place a try. You're not going to regret it. If you're picky about either, then you definitely should try it. This will be the pizza spot everyone...

Definitely an under-the-radar pizza joint in Shorewood, but worth the trip. Their pizza is excellent! We ordered a 14” thin crust pizza with sausage and green peppers and light cheese. The sausage was excellent in large chunks. Peppers were great too. Pizza came quick and we dined in their small dining area. Not too much to their dining area, but it works. They have a great menu of other items other than pizza and I look forward to trying some of them in the future. Looking forward to coming back again very soon. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
