Second review under new owner: If I could give 10 stars for service, I would. I was out running errands with my 12 year old daughter, and we were getting hungry. As we were leaving Costco, I resisted the temptation to get a hot dog and asked the kiddo what she wanted to eat. She emphatically said, "I want a beef thing from Pizza For U!" I tried to order online, but that was disabled. So I drove to the Shorewood location and the open sign wasn't lit up, and another sign said closed. My daughter was very disappointed. I saw two guys in there, so I decided to try my luck. I walked in and asked if they were open. One guy (Nick) said, "We're closing because we are short staffed. But I still got the oven on so we can make you something quick." I got a beef pocket, breadsticks, and a white cheesy pizza. He had never heard of the last thing and couldn't find it in the computer. We looked it up on the menu and he said, "I got you." He gathered up all the ingredients to make it. He said he was going to make it himself even though he was supposed to do a delivery because the other guy (Vince) was super busy and newer, and he wanted to make sure it was right since they hadn't made it before. Nick was very conversational as he made this white cheesy pizza. I told him it was for a vegetarian that couldn't have tomatoes either. Nick was super careful when making it, ensuring no tomatoes touched it. He threw it in the oven, ran out for his delivery and came back to help Vince finish my order. After the white cheesy pizza was baked, he made sure to cut it with a clean blade that wasn't used to cut my beef pocket (for my other daughter who is a vegetarian). Vince was working hard back there and made me a great beef pocket and breadsticks. Nick and Vince made my daughter's night since she got the "beef thing from Pizza For U".
They are short staffed but are working their tails off to make it work. The owner is not able to be there sir to a family emergency and Nick is running the place with the dedication and passion as if he owned the place. They have had some unfortunate reviews. I'm here to tell you that I have had great experiences since the new owner took over. If you've had a bad experience, please give them another chance. They are really trying hard to please their customers and I admire that. Thank you Nick and Vince for going out of your way to make my order even though you were closing. The service was top notch, it was fast, and it was delicious. You are appreciated!

Read moreIt's not so uncommon to place an order at a restaurant and have it made incorrectly. This is no crime. Unless you order from the Pizza 4 U in Shorewood. The owner CP made me feel like a liar and a thief as I tried to explain to him that my order was wrong, and that I'd called and explained this to an employee who assured me they would make it right, remember me and remake my item next time I called to place an order. DESPITE my having the details of who I spoke to and when, CP, tried to say that because I didn't check my order, still have the receipt and bring the order back they would be able to do nothing more than give me a credit for half the cost of the item. I actually had to keep this man on the phone and literally argue with him to get him to agree to give me a credit for the full price of the item, After-all, it was their mistake! Customer Service is dead. I hope everyone that reads this review heeds my warning and keeps their receipt, and checks their order before they leave the restaurant if they order from Pizza 4 U Shorewood. They take no responsibility for the correctness of what they give, and require you check their work. The owner CP actually told me he didn't know who made the mistake, "me or his employee", like I would waste my time and call this store multiple times to defraude him out of the cost of a large calzone!! how...

Thanks for the reply. We already called and the staff said they were going to send out the driver back to pick up the pizza. We left it on the front porch and it's still there 3 hours later.
A short time after calling the restaurant they called my wife asking about a beef pocket delivery. When she told the guy that we didn't order a beef pocket but we were waiting for the driver to pickup the messy pizza they were rude to her and got defensive stating they have a long list of things to worry about. Sure makes it seem like there's alot of confusion at the restaurant and they're taking the frustration out on customers.
Hi its 1/20/2024- two weeks after our order. We called in to see the status on our refund and was told that there is still a long list of customers waiting for refunds that have not been processed and to call back another time.
How do I get in contact with the owner? It's pretty ridiculous that not even the transaction has been refunded. I understand it takes a while for banks (usually 3 to 5 business days) to process the refund- but it's pretty sad of here there's a long list of customers also waiting...
