The Crowd Around Me — Restaurant in Shorewood

Come here if you’d like to serve yourself while bartenders and waitresses are on their phones or talking. We sat down, waited 5 minutes(place was near empty), approached the bar ordered drinks for my wife and I, stood there while they were being made, served them to my table myself. Waited 5 more minutes now that I figured they knew we were there. Approached the bar again to ask for menus, took them back to our table myself. Waited 5-10 minutes for one of the three women behind the bar to stop conversing and/or thunder thumbing their phones, I once again approached the bar and placed my order. I’d finish the rest of my review but my thumbs are tired, and it doesn’t get any better, just like this establishment. Worst service I’ve...

Well, I have been here twice for lunch since I found out they have great burgers. And I wasn't lied to. The burgers are good and the fries also. It makes no logical sense for me to go through any of these chain drive-thrus, we'll, not all of them, when this place is serving up good food. I have only one complaint. Not enough fries. I got my eyes on that heart attack burger. But gotta work up my nerves to order it. These are no small patties either. I like this place. Now it is a bar, so I always order and take home. My wife and I went here for our "after-party" when we got married. It was perfect. Just the two of us there...the bartender brought out the fancy plates and took pictures for us, and mixed some exceptional drinks.

Aside from that, the combo platter here is amazing, the Guinness is rich and cold, and all the bartenders are great. Nothing to dislike about this place. Central location too, no matter where you were before arriving and no matter where you need to go afterwards, this place is probably halfway...
