Einstein bagels taste amazing! Remind me of the late "Big Apple Bagels".... Service has deteriorated exponentially since remodel/merger with Caribou. I have visited here frequently since 2008. Mostly on Wednesdays for the bakers dozen deal for my co-workers. Fast, friendly hospitality when ordering a box o' bagels-but any single bagel order or sandwich request gets suspended and seen piled up on the display screen in back going from a yellow border to red-meaning an order taking over 5 minute to complete. To me, and many other morning-goers, that is excessive when four employees are seen behind the counter working/gabbing. Multiple online surveys were completed by myself over the past few months with no improvement. Even addressed concerns with an Assistant Manager in person. I always order on the app and normally choose the location on ogden. Today I chose the location on Oakland and I'm truly upset. The order was placed wrong on the app unsure how when I choose the order again option for the farm house. When I look back at the order I see it's the all nighter. I call the location and they begin to tell me how they don't have the bread for the farm house. I say ok and to make with the plain bagel. When I go to pick up my bagel it's burnt and only have one egg. I call again and the guy gives me this sorry excuse that they were rushing and busy.. sorry excuse if u ask me. I begin to tell him how I'll be returning the bagels he says something and just hangs up the phone. Very rude and unprofessional.
