The name Pizza N Curry is a great establishment despite its confusing name. From the street view it looks like it might be a fusion, half Italian, half Indian takeout spot. But this is actually a proper Indian restaurant as thankfully I did not see any Italian pizzas on their menu. But they do have tandoori and Chicken Tikka pizzas that we almost ordered.
This brings me to the food. It is simply 5-7x better than Cafe India, top to bottom. I immediately knew the food was going to be great when it was delivered in copper bowls with julienned ginger floating on the top.
The mutton karahi and chicken achari is basically south asian soul food and will hopefully power us through the rest of this snowy month. Even my 8 year old's chicken strips were of high quality as you could tell it was strips of dark meat breaded in house and excellenly seasoned. Shorewood you are very lucky that these guys care.

Read moreI got the most amazing dinner here. I ordered the Garlic naan, chicken makhani aka butter chicken (which I knew I liked) and paneer karahi (which I learned I really like!)
The chicken makhani was the most amazing I have ever has so creamy and flavorful! I seriously want to order the sauce by the gallon and drink it! I used the naan to wipe up the sauce.
The karahi was something I had never heard of and I had to Google before ordering. I wasn't sure exactly how spicy it would be but I figured I'd go for broke. I like a low lingering hear rather than the intense heat that is the rage today but I am familiar with red curry paste so if you can handle that, you should be good. It'll clear your sinus but not burn your nose hairs if ya catch my drift. Paneer is a cheese with a soft firm texture. Kinda like a tofu texture with a fresh mozzarella almost flavor. It was so good. I got rice for that. And that tempered the heat...
Read moreI haven't tried the pizza, but the vegetarian curries we've had have all been very good. The paneer makhani and dal fry are our favorites. It's not the absolute best food from the subcontinent I've had, but easily in the top 85%, especially at its price point. Samosas are the thinner wanton-type dough I don't like as much as the thicker type, but good filling (this is simply a personal preference); vegetable pakora is excellent.
The restaurant isn't really primarily intended for dine-in - and, appropriately, the decor is pretty plain, though it's been clean and in good repair when I've gone in; it does have a few tables for people who wish to dine in.
Service has been excellent every time! Be aware if calling in an order that the time estimates I get are always 10-15 minutes more optimistic than it turns out (so I usually aim to arrive five minutes after the suggested time, and wait a...
