Been in here multiple times for buying but then selling some Pokémon cards as well. The stores cool, the dude who’s always there is what stops me from coming in. Doesn’t ever seem happy or smiles. Kind of feels like I’m bothering/annoying him when I come in to sell cards. Tried to talk about a few items didn’t want to chat about the merchandise. One of my favorite parts of coming in collectible stores is the enthusiasm of the owners/workers cause they love the stuff as much as you do, but not this guy. We all have off days but dude definitely seemed a bit rude today and very short. I wanted store credit but he didn’t bother to give me a quote just said it would be a little more he could offer. I don’t like it when I feel like I have to ask all the questions and get clarification because he wants to be vague. Didn’t want to come back so I took cash. Going to be taking my business elsewhere from now on. The vibes were just all off and killed the fun that a collectibles store usually is for me. Definitely low balled some of my cards to but didn’t feel comfortable inquiring any further due to dudes attitude.
My apologies there was one customer in the store 15 minutes after I had arrived. Didn’t realize being that “busy” warrants bad customer service. It takes zero time away from your day to smile and you couldn’t even do that. I don’t except anyone to talk for hours but if I can’t even feel comfortable talking about the items I’m interested in or asking questions about stuff I’d like to purchase because your busy with one customer than perhaps you should find another job. My day wasn’t off until I stepped into the store and was treated rudely. Perhaps if you weren’t reviewing reviews while at work you’d have the time out of your busy schedule to actually be nicer to the one person in your store on a rainy Thursday. Clapping back when a customer said the store was good it was the customer service that was lacking just makes you look bad and pretty much confirms my point of the...
Read moreWow, my experience was NOTHING like Mr. Reams suggested (although yes- the lighting is nice) . Sadly, I do not usually take the time to write a review. I have to be VERY impressed to do so, which makes what Mr. Reams' review said so surprising to me. There were approximately 15 people in the store when I brought my group of young teenagers in. We were greeted immediately upon arrival, and the owner moved from person to person, casually chit-chatting and providing solid answers to any questions. The owner appeared genuine and at ease conversing with these customers that share in his passion; much more than just making a quick sale. My group couldn't stop talking about how cool the store and "the guy talking to them" was, and that they couldn't wait to go back. It was a very enjoyable experience all the way around. I highly recommend checking out this place. After listening to the owner talking about the plans he has moving forward, I can safely say that Cosmic Destroyer Collectibles is going to...
Read moreI have been going to Cosmic Destroyers for about a year now and Jon has been a blessing in disguise for my Collectible and Card Addiction!!! Whether I call or message him on social media I will get a QUICK response with the answer that I am looking for (he will even hold items or keep me updated on stock to make sure I'll be able to get my hands on something im looking for). Prices are always reasonable and never over the top ( he DOESNT UPCHARGE like some of the shops in the area do). This has been the ONLY collectible/card shop I have been going to in the area because I'm very satisfied with the business and service he provides!!!
I also recently did a PSA submission with him and I was very satisfied with how he handled the submission. His estimated grades were pretty much spot on for what we had graded as well!!!
I highly recommend this shop...
