Unpleasant! The laziest most unpleasant baristas I have ever interacted with. There was one gentleman at the register who was awesome and really helpful, but there were 2 baristas in particular making fun of customers orders, and customers questions so loud that anyone could hear their rude comments. Diana and Evan or Eric were their names. Making comments like "why do people need to have soy in their coffee? Like why can't they just have regular milk?" Or "why do people ask if they can make a caramel macchiato a frappucino why dnt they just order a caramel frappucino they are so stupid!" OR! "Do you see this line? I'm definitely leaving at 3pm I don't want to deal with these people." My mouth was to the floor in awe and in disgust! I have worked in customer service my entire life and currently am the creative director at a widely known makeup company and never have I ever seen such blatant display of neglect and disrespect. And the craziest part, when I asked them if they were aware that everyone could hear them they replied yes! Wow. If I'm paying 6$ for a coffee I expect to be respected....
Read moreI don't know why I continue to go to the Starbucks when I visit Short Pump Town Center, as I am usually disappointed. I drink coffee, just a cup of coffee, rarely ever a fancy beverage, and I am told every time I go to this location, that they don't have ANY coffee brewed of ANY type, could I "please wait just a couple minutes," because at this Starbucks coffee store, they "hardly ever serve just plain coffee," mostly the crafted drinks. So I was waiting literally almost FIFTEEN minutes for a plain cup of coffee, watching them make the fancy drinks for all of the people who ordered after I did. Having to wait for any type of coffee to be brewed has happened here several times over the last couple years, though this time the wait was OVER THE TOP. Read moreIf I could leave no stars, I would!! I've been to this Starbucks many times but this day was exceptionally horrible. I placed a Mobile order before I even arrived at the mall so that my drink would be ready when I got there (it's usually a wait anyways). Date was 9/14/24 and I placed my order at about 3:30. They were a little understaffed and a little busy, but nothing unusual for a Saturday afternoon. I waited 45 minutes for my coffee, even though I ordered ahead of time. I was not the only one who waited that long for their coffee.. many people were asking where their order was and we were all told the same thing "oh it's coming.. you just need to wait." I'm sorry, but 45 minutes is ridiculous... And the staff were not even apologetic about the wait, did not offer anything since we waited so long.
