This evening we had a very pleasant time at West Coast Provisions. My better half and I are big fans of East Coast Provisions. It's where we had our first date almost 3 years ago next week. It was our first time at West Coast. I had the PEI mussels and the fried grouper sandwich. My better half had edamame, ceviche made with salmon and rockfish and tuna carpaccio. All of them we very good. Though I'd have liked the grouper sandwich to have been a bit crispier. Our server, Ashley, was Absolutely great! She was friendly, courteous and professional. She took our order right away so we could take advantage of happy hour and continued the trend throughout the evening. The downside of our experience was the fact that my entree was served while I had not yet finished my PEI mussels. Also, the person who served us, Maggie (apparently the manager), dropped my bun top on the table as well as asked me to move our items on the table so as to make room. Now, that is most probably why my grouper sandwich was not that crispy. Also, I was left with the choice of which dish I wanted to eat at least warm. Mussels or grouper? Not very good choices. I chose to eat my mussels so subsequently my sandwich was barely warm and my fries were pretty cold. Having been in the business for a great number of years I would have thought that a manager would have asked a server if they needed their order run or at least checked to see if the table was clear. I most certainly am not one to enjoy my appetizer with my entree. You don't run someone's food without asking unless you know they're in weeds. It's bad form. I am having critical surgery in a few days and this was my last time to enjoy dinner out for a while. Ashley made the experience. Maggie kinda put a damper on the food experience. I'd have thought a manager would know better. I would recommend West Coast and especially Ashley. Though I'd sincerely hope we have a better food experience next time.

Had an amazing experience sitting at the bar. The bar manager, Shelby was awesome! Very knowledgeable about cocktails and the menu. The rest of the bar staff were constantly checking on everyone and making sure everyone had what they needed. Our water glasses never made it to empty. We tried the ceviche - it was bright, fresh and amazing! We had 2 sushi rolls, ruby red oysters on the halfshell, little neck clams and cocktail shrimp. All I can say is wow. Everything was fresh and PERFECT! Someone in our group got a burger and we all had to try a little bite. It was super juicy and flavorful even though it was cooked well done. The atmosphere was comfortable, modern, very clean. After such an all-around great experience, we are planning to return this weekend. ..... ***Update*** - went back as planned and had an even better experience the second time! (How is that even possible?!) There was a rabbit patè special. Sounds a little intimidating, but is seriously one of the best dishes I've ever had. Chef Trevor is on point with this. Didn't taste gamey at all. Also tried the crunchy sushi roll, burger (again) and the shaved octopus - another dish that may sound intimidating but is phenomenal. So good that we ordered a second plate after round one. Connor is amazing at the raw bar. A few other bartenders were there and working hard without ever missing a beat on customer service. Kudos to Shelby, Ryan and Jeff! Love your hospitality and will see you again soon!

First time trying this place, and my wife and I loved it. We came for the happy hour drinks and found they also had a happy hour food selection. Started off with 2 dozen oysters on the half shell, 2 spicy tuna rolls, and the tuna tartar tacos. We also had a few alcoholic beverages to go with the selection. Everything was so tasty and reasonably priced, we then ordered the mussels, Parmesan truffle fries, and a third spicy tuna roll, after some feedback from our server, Haley J. The food was absolutely delicious, and we can’t wait to come try other items on the menu. The sauce for the mussels was so tasty, I had to get a container to take the rest home. Haley J was very attentive, provided great input on selections, and checked up on us regularly to include any last minute drinks as happy hour was ending. Her constant smile was so welcoming, she made the experience for us. Great atmosphere, very clean and upscale appearance. If I had a criticism, it was upon our initial arrival and seating. We came for happy hour but were apparently seated in an area that didn’t serve that menu. We had no idea, but they happily moved us where we needed to be. They also explained why when I asked. Just keep that in mind when seating during that time. Thank you for a great first experience WCP and Haley! We will definitely be back and tell our friends!

I will never patronize this establishment!

RESPONSE to YOUR RESPONSE

Thank you for taking the time to respond, but there are several inaccuracies in your reply that need to be addressed.

When my friend arrived, she was asked how many were in her party and whether she preferred seating inside or outside on the patio. She said “two” and chose to sit inside. She was then told we’d have 90 minutes at the table, but no explanation was given about why. It’s true she didn’t ask for clarification, but not asking a follow-up question doesn’t mean she knowingly agreed to a time-limited table. It’s the staff’s responsibility to communicate clearly when a table is reserved and comes with a restriction—especially when that’s not standard practice. That context matters, and it was never provided. When I arrived and was informed by my friend that we only had an hour and a half at the table, I called the waiter over to get clarification. I began by saying, “I just got here—I’ve been here for about five minutes, but she was here before me…” Before I could even finish my sentence, he abruptly cut me off and said, “Not that long.” I let that slide and continued by saying, “She’s telling me that when she was seated, she was informed we only have an hour and a half at this table.” His response: “Well, if that’s what was told to her, then that’s true.” That was dismissive and unhelpful. I was trying to understand the reasoning behind the limit, and instead of providing clarity, he brushed it off without explanation. When I asked whether the 90-minute rule applied to all tables or just ours, he said, “I believe it’s just your table.” That vague, unprofessional response only created more confusion—especially, and I don’t want to make this into an issue, but from what I observed, we were the only African-American patrons in the restaurant at that time, and no one else appeared to be on any kind of time limit. The entire exchange felt rushed, dismissive, targeted, and careless. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was finally told that the table had been reserved for a party at 7:30 PM. That would have been understandable—if that information had been disclosed upfront. But it wasn’t. Had we been told that clearly when seated, we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay, wait, or leave. Instead, the details came in pieces and only after I pressed the issue.

I understand that Friday nights are busy and reservations take priority. That’s expected. What isn’t acceptable is the lack of clear communication, the inconsistent explanations, and the unprofessional demeanor from your staff. We didn’t feel welcomed or respected—we felt brushed off and handled as an afterthought.

This wasn’t just about a time limit. It was about how the situation was managed—and how we were treated.

One final note: I noticed several recent one- and two-star reviews that were far more detailed than mine—and yet received no response. Meanwhile, my brief one-line review—with no explanation or context—prompted an immediate and thoughtful reply. What’s more concerning is that evening, I looked nothing like the photo on my profile, so for someone to connect my name and review to who I was that evening suggests that your team specifically identified me.

That makes your response feel less like genuine engagement and more like selective damage control. And that, in itself, says a lot.

I...

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at West Coast Provisions, and I can't say enough about the fantastic experience we had. From start to finish, it was nothing short of amazing, and I'd give it more stars if I could!

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance of the restaurant set the perfect tone for the evening. The warm, inviting atmosphere was beautifully complemented by the stylish decor, creating a cozy yet upscale space that was perfect for our intimate gathering of 40 people. The combination of contemporary and coastal elements in the design added a touch of sophistication that perfectly mirrored the occasion.

Now, let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of spectacular. West Coast Provisions truly exceeded all expectations. We were treated to an array of mouthwatering dishes that delighted the senses. The menu offered a fantastic selection of fresh seafood and other culinary delights, and it's clear that the chefs take immense pride in their craft. From the impeccably prepared seafood to the delectable, flavorful appetizers, every bite was a culinary delight. The creativity and quality of each dish truly showcased their commitment to excellence.

Of course, a great dining experience isn't just about the food; the service plays an equally significant role. At West Coast Provisions, the service was top-notch. The staff was not only professional and attentive but also displayed a genuine passion for ensuring our celebration was memorable. They seamlessly accommodated our party of 40 with grace and efficiency, which is no small feat.

West Coast Provisions delivered an unforgettable experience for our rehearsal dinner. The combination of incredible food, exceptional service, and a charming ambiance made this a night to remember. If you're looking for a dining venue for a special occasion, you can't go wrong with West Coast Provisions. I highly recommend it for any celebration or even just a delightful night out. This restaurant truly knows how to create an extraordinary dining experience, and I can't wait to return for more exceptional moments.

Thank you to the entire team at West Coast Provisions for making our evening so incredibly special. Your dedication and talent are truly remarkable, and we are immensely grateful for the memories you...

Me and my friends went out for one of my close friends 17th birthday dinners and as for me working in the restaurant business understanding the server industry this is one of the worst experiences i’ve had. I rarely gives reviews and hate to be this type of person but it needs to be addressed. Our server was Morgan T. Our resveration was at 6 and we didn’t put in food till close to 6:40. Me and my two friends got there a few minutes late around 6:15. When we got there, there was already waters around and a water jug for refills which was great and appreciated. It took the server about 20 mins to come over after me and my two friends got there. Food came out in a good timing. We were out of water in the jug and cups. We never got ask for refills. Over half the table was done with their food with still no refills. Another lady came over who I want to say was a manger because she was not dressed like a server, this lady asked if she could take anything out of the way, we handed her our plates which was greatly appreciated so thank you. My friend asked for a side of fries when his food first came out, everyone was done eating and he still yet to not have his fries so he asked the server if he could just take them off. She gave us the checks and it took about another 10-15 minutes to take them and bring them back. This was our first time going there and for a birthday dinner. It was not what we expected. We may be teenagers and know people think we don’t tip because we were teenagers but that is still no excuse. Half the table works in the restaurant industry. Personally I always tip 20% or more unless the service is terrible. I do understand restaurants being busy and dinner rush, which at this time they were pretty busy. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it got to a certain point. Half the time we barely saw our server. Tonight was a special night for my friend and I don’t want to say dinner ruined it all but it was nothing of what we expected. I would love to come back but we were all pretty unhappy with...
