I will never patronize this establishment!
RESPONSE to YOUR RESPONSE
Thank you for taking the time to respond, but there are several inaccuracies in your reply that need to be addressed.
When my friend arrived, she was asked how many were in her party and whether she preferred seating inside or outside on the patio. She said “two” and chose to sit inside. She was then told we’d have 90 minutes at the table, but no explanation was given about why. It’s true she didn’t ask for clarification, but not asking a follow-up question doesn’t mean she knowingly agreed to a time-limited table. It’s the staff’s responsibility to communicate clearly when a table is reserved and comes with a restriction—especially when that’s not standard practice. That context matters, and it was never provided. When I arrived and was informed by my friend that we only had an hour and a half at the table, I called the waiter over to get clarification. I began by saying, “I just got here—I’ve been here for about five minutes, but she was here before me…” Before I could even finish my sentence, he abruptly cut me off and said, “Not that long.” I let that slide and continued by saying, “She’s telling me that when she was seated, she was informed we only have an hour and a half at this table.” His response: “Well, if that’s what was told to her, then that’s true.” That was dismissive and unhelpful. I was trying to understand the reasoning behind the limit, and instead of providing clarity, he brushed it off without explanation. When I asked whether the 90-minute rule applied to all tables or just ours, he said, “I believe it’s just your table.” That vague, unprofessional response only created more confusion—especially, and I don’t want to make this into an issue, but from what I observed, we were the only African-American patrons in the restaurant at that time, and no one else appeared to be on any kind of time limit. The entire exchange felt rushed, dismissive, targeted, and careless. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was finally told that the table had been reserved for a party at 7:30 PM. That would have been understandable—if that information had been disclosed upfront. But it wasn’t. Had we been told that clearly when seated, we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay, wait, or leave. Instead, the details came in pieces and only after I pressed the issue.
I understand that Friday nights are busy and reservations take priority. That’s expected. What isn’t acceptable is the lack of clear communication, the inconsistent explanations, and the unprofessional demeanor from your staff. We didn’t feel welcomed or respected—we felt brushed off and handled as an afterthought.
This wasn’t just about a time limit. It was about how the situation was managed—and how we were treated.
One final note: I noticed several recent one- and two-star reviews that were far more detailed than mine—and yet received no response. Meanwhile, my brief one-line review—with no explanation or context—prompted an immediate and thoughtful reply. What’s more concerning is that evening, I looked nothing like the photo on my profile, so for someone to connect my name and review to who I was that evening suggests that your team specifically identified me.
That makes your response feel less like genuine engagement and more like selective damage control. And that, in itself, says a lot.

Read moreMe and my friends went out for one of my close friends 17th birthday dinners and as for me working in the restaurant business understanding the server industry this is one of the worst experiences i’ve had. I rarely gives reviews and hate to be this type of person but it needs to be addressed. Our server was Morgan T. Our resveration was at 6 and we didn’t put in food till close to 6:40. Me and my two friends got there a few minutes late around 6:15. When we got there, there was already waters around and a water jug for refills which was great and appreciated. It took the server about 20 mins to come over after me and my two friends got there. Food came out in a good timing. We were out of water in the jug and cups. We never got ask for refills. Over half the table was done with their food with still no refills. Another lady came over who I want to say was a manger because she was not dressed like a server, this lady asked if she could take anything out of the way, we handed her our plates which was greatly appreciated so thank you. My friend asked for a side of fries when his food first came out, everyone was done eating and he still yet to not have his fries so he asked the server if he could just take them off. She gave us the checks and it took about another 10-15 minutes to take them and bring them back. This was our first time going there and for a birthday dinner. It was not what we expected. We may be teenagers and know people think we don’t tip because we were teenagers but that is still no excuse. Half the table works in the restaurant industry. Personally I always tip 20% or more unless the service is terrible. I do understand restaurants being busy and dinner rush, which at this time they were pretty busy. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it got to a certain point. Half the time we barely saw our server. Tonight was a special night for my friend and I don’t want to say dinner ruined it all but it was nothing of what we expected. I would love to come back but we were all pretty unhappy with...
