3rd strike your out!!!!! We tried to give this place a chance….. 3 chances that is…. First time was a to go order and took over an hour for a to go order to get, when we got home we found the pork chops burned… like completely charred and the eggs over cooked, the avacado toast was just raw avacado smeared on untoasted bread ( early Sunday morning and no they were not busy), we figured it was new opening growing pains so on to 2nd time, we went in to eat and were met with rude staff who didn’t know their menu and when asked questions they acted like it was putting them out to get the information…. This morning we went back for a to go order…. Called in an order, spoke with Kia, who was very rude and argued with me that she could not take payment over the phone for the order. And when I informed her I have done it before she got even more rude and continued to speak over me while I tried to read my card to her I have to repeat myself 3 times. She told me 20-30 mins until it’s ready… went in to pick it up and was told by Kia (once again very rudely) “ I said 35 mins not 20” after waiting more than 35 mins she comes out and tells me they were just waiting on the pork chops to come up. 10 mins later I finally left with the food. Get home and take a bite of my pork chop breakfast……MY PORK CHOPS WERE COMPLETELY RAW!!! Like they just seared the sides to “brown them”. Called and spoke with the manager Mandy and was offered to bring the food back for a refund…. To drive over 15 miles once again to fix their mess up. Was told the owner would call us back, never got a callback from the owner instead got a call back from Mandy the manager that said she was simply going to refund the order. No apologies no nothing else just that they’re going to...
Read moreHello, I have recently seen a few bad comments and reviews about the Show Low Cafe and I honestly do not understand what that is about. Show Low Cafe has high quality food in big portions at very reasonable prices! Most of the negative comments also say that it's bad since the new owner... I feel like those statements are coming from people who can't adapt to change. The new owner is very hard working and making necessary changes to move the business in the right direction. Every time I go there to eat, I am very satisfied with the meals and the service! Today I went for a quick breakfast before I had to go to my job and it was Amazing! I don't know how people can complain about the prices... I had today's special, 4 big slices of French toast, 3 sausage links, a cupl of strawberries with whip cream as a topping on the side - super delicious, filling and ! Are you kidding me! all that for $10.50?! I added a chocolate milk shake for $5.95, which is like 2 cups, because they always give the cup that they use to mix the drink. So, I had an amazing breakfast that made my day before I had to go to work, for like $16 total! And the service? Great! You have wonderful servers that make sure that everything is to your liking. Everything is very organized from start to end. I was greeted by the owner, Cody and the beautiful hostess, Jeannette, who also works as a server every other day. The wonderful server, Mandy, was very attentive and the busser, Kelsey, made sure that there were no dirty dishes on my table. Besides fine dining restaurants, Show Low Cafe is among the top dining experiences! Love the place, the friendly people and the unbeatable prices. Will...
Read moreService is great, everyone is so nice. Atmosphere is what you'd expect, and it is fun to look at the various trinkets you can buy. However I do not understand all the raving reviews about the food. We stayed at the hotel and got dinner there, just a couple of burgers. The tomatoes were old and tasted like refrigerator, so we took the garnishes off of our burgers. No big deal. The burger patty is nice and thick, but its what you'd expect from a preformed frozen patty that probably has a few extra ingredients in it, not the best quality and has that weird processed flavor. They do toast the bun with butter, so that helps. The fries are really good--crunchy outside, soft inside. We figured breakfast would be better since most people rave about that specifically. I'm thinking they probably don't use the free voucher from the hotel, which gives you a few specific options. We ordered biscuits and gravy and both arrived to the table ice cold all the way through. Hubby upcharged some eggs, which he was glad he ordered since at least they were hot and he was able to have some breakfast. I don't usually eat breakfast anyway so I didn't order anything else. So my thinking is, if you're using the free voucher, get something that has to be cooked to order, such as the eggs, in order to get at least one thing hot. Or, and this is what I would have done if I'd known, skip using the voucher and just pay for your own breakfast from the regular menu, it's probably much better, or at least hot. If I ever go back to test that theory, I'll update--but...
