Fumbles Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Shreveport

Honestly, the name says it all! They definitely know how to fumble! Part of me wonders if the service wasn’t that good because we didn’t order from the bar. There were about 13-15 ppl there for the entire 1 hr 10 mins we were there. We ordered 2 sodas and an order of fried pickles. The bartender didn’t really seem to be doing much of anything, except talking to 2 ppl who were either regulars or possibly the owner, but the server was doing a lot of running around. Our app sat in the window for close to 10 mins, so they were more warm than hot. It took quite sometime for our waitress to come back to take our dinner order. I asked to sub onion rings for the fries & she asked me if I said tots, I repeated I wanted onion rings. My husband’s food sat in the window easily for 10 mins. His fries were no longer hot. The server dropped his food off & mumbled something about the wrap & then 5 mins later, my wrap was delivered, with tots. When I said I had ordered onion rings she sighed & walked back & said “it’s supposed to be onion rings” to the kitchen. The onion rings were delivered another 5 mins later. They are hot but absolutely so greasy that all you could taste was grease. I got the Buffalo Wrap & it had so much buffalo sauce in it, that was all you could taste. The chicken was very dry also. My husband’s burger was a burger, and said if it had been hot it would have been better. Maybe I was expecting too much, unfortunately, I can’t see...

This place was amazing! As soon as I walked in the door I felt relaxed and welcome. The staff as well as the other customers were very polite and everyone wore a smile. They seemed to have something for everyone: TV's, 3 slot machines (that someone won $100 on as soon as we walked in!), a pool room 🎱, a claw machine!, a jukebox, and even a bar! With "happy hour" ALL DAY Saturdays & Sundays! My wonderful Son brought me here and I was happy to let him order for me because there was so much to choose from and they all sounded Amazing! So we both had the Philly Steak Quesadillas with no veggies which were delicious! And the portion was so big that we both brought home half of our meals! The aromas coming from the kitchen we're mouthwatering and our food was served fresh, hot and rather fast! This place seemed to offer everything u could think of and is even kid friendly! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I haven't gotten to try but one dish and I haven't experienced all the extra stuff they offer, but I will 100% be going back to try out the rest of the menu and will update my star rating! Self seated and waited on promptly. Very attentive staff. Watched the big TV in front of me that was playing the old NFL Films SB III, IV, V and VI. I was there for a bit. Waitress came by many times to refill my drink and asked if I would like to watch something else, but I was fine. I am a burger guy and ordered the plain Brewski. (med rare) I am also not a complainer, which is a bad thing when it comes to customer service and food prep/presentation. As far as presentation goes, it was great. Open face burger, accessories on the side. A ample supply of fries with some jalapeno mayo. The fries go 1st as they are great when hot. Then I slice the burger in half and notice that it is not med rare, more like med well. No juice (grease/flavor) had soaked the bun. Can one even buy 99/1% beef? With the leanness of the meat, it was like eating a mealy tasteless patty. I added worstishire sauce (forgive spelling) to give it at least some semblance of a namesake burger. It seems as though I always forget about this when I am here and I needed to write it down so that next time I will stick to the wings or the major league nachos. The Brewski burger was definitely a fumble.
