I LOVE Johnny's. It's mine and my kids most favorite pizza place but always go to colquitt rd or southern loop and Blanchard. I stopped at youree because I was in area and just assumed it was like the others. When I walked in it struck me as dirty... floor needed swept, dirty tables, and salad bar did not look appetizing. I grabbed a menu and briefly stood by a table to decide what I was ordering because someone was at register picking up their order. When the customer had left out I walked up to register and stood there because the cashier disappeared. I'm just patiently waiting because I figured they're working hard, wasn't gonna be all extra eventhough me and my babies ready to get home. After 3 to 5 min a girl pops up and instead of helping me she starts cleaning glass on the fridge with the bottle drinks and the screen on register. ThEN she still did not help me, she started hollering at the other female employee to come take care.of me because she was trying to do something obviously more important than her job... the girl in the back refused so she had to take my order anyways and wasn't thrilled about it. I very clearly began telling her my exact order and all the info she needed but she was distracted I guess because I had to repeat everything I told her the order then she asked me "bone in or bone out" "how do you want them made?" (What sauce did I want on them) "you want a peach pudding pie?" "What size?" (Because me saying a small peach pudding pie prompts those 2 questions lol) I gave her my kids name and she repeated the wrong name back to me. I was just kinda shocked because I've never been to johnnys and had to deal with such a rude cashier... this is my 1st bad experience with an employee there. I didnt wanna get out to order and wait on a pizza when I've had a long day shopping with 2 small kids but I was still polite even after the bad customer service I received so I feel like regardless to what she was going thru she could hve been friendly to a customer spending money at her employers business. I'll just stick to my normal...
Read moreI normally come to this location, and everything is well. However, I felt like I wasted a lot of my time, effort, and money tonight right after a long shift. I thought I'd treat myself and family to some of our favorite pizza.
I ordered a large sweep the kitchen, a PERSONAL Sweep the swamp, small cheese sticks, and a FREE order of Mardi Gras cinnamon sticks. I arrived about 30 minutes later and was told my total of nearly $50. This stuff is super expensive, which is why I tend to go every once in a while. I knew something was off, but given that the guy in the back was the only one working, the stuff was already done and I didn't want to sit through any changes or put the crew under more pressure. I was tired.
Halfway home, I'm just really getting these nudges to go back and actually get my money's worth. However, I was afraid they wouldn't believe that my original order wasn't a personal size pizza, thinking I had just changed my mind at the last minute. I called back. My cinnamon sticks were just regular cinnamon sticks, not Mardi Gras. My Sweep the Swamp was a large size rather than a personal pan. I wanted a personal size because I had never tried it before, and to my suspected horror, I ended up not liking it all that much. The young guy that took my order did not really seem like he knew what he was doing. He got the manager on the phone to apologize and said they would remake the cinnamon sticks.
So, I turned around, burning gas and having a headache. I walked back into the store and the lady just handed it to me. No apology, or even anything free to compensate me having to come all the way back. That's what I did when I worked at Fast Food; you offer something extra as a nice gesture for getting a person's order wrong. It really makes a difference. But I take some responsibility becuase I should have checked all of it at the store.
Waste of money. VERY disappointed in...
Read moreHad to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star. This restaurant has gone way down hill in the last 6 months. When we order online it says it will be ready in 20-25 minutes. We wait that time and then arrive, and we have never gotten our pizza in less than 30 EXTRA minutes beyond the initial 20-25 minutes. This has happened on each of our 3-4 occasions in the last few months. Every pizza we have received lately has been undercooked. If you order bread sticks, they will taste like cinnamon sticks. I'm guessing pans aren't cleaned between uses??? Not sure how else that happens. I'm actually allergic to cinnamon so I can't even eat them when we order and get them with cinnamon coated on the bottom where it touches the pan. I am tired of wasting my money so we are no longer...
