I impulsively tried this place when my usual street taco spot was closed. Came on a Sunday around 4pm and the restaurant was empty except for a table of what I believe were staff and friends/family. This was my first visit so I decided to try the steak street tacos. As I waited for my food, I glanced around the dining area and noticed it was cluttered and unkempt. A box of old bananas was sitting next to the counter where I ordered. A pile of cleaning supplies and rags were sitting next to the self serve drink station. The restaurant also smelled like all purpose cleaner rather than food. And when I left and drove around to exit, there were piles of junk littered all around. I could probably overlook the clutter if the tacos were tasty but unfortunately, the tacos were very disappointing. The steak was just tiny little bits of over cooked meat and the corn tortillas weren’t soft, they were hard, possibly stale, and over cooked as well. Sadly, this spot left a poor first impression and I likely won’t go back when there are several other restaurants in the area with better tacos and atmosphere. Portion and pricing seemed comparable with other restaurants.

Thoughts after restaurant response: You may be confusing me with another customer as I didn’t ask any questions regarding the type of meat and I did not request hard shells. Regardless, the meat and tortillas were over cooked. I did not bring this to anyone’s attention at the time because I took the food to go. I also noticed the “No Refunds if you don’t like how the food tastes “ sign which would definitely be a deterrent for a lot of folks. I made no mention of dirty tables, I didn’t notice any actually. While I respect your right to respond to criticism, I’m not sure that the person responding to these reviews is able to accept any...

Unfortunately not what they once were.

Beef cheek tacos: Quality: low Taste: not as good as competition Presentation: not as good as competition Portion: smaller than competition

I love this dish. I have ordered it in as many places as I have visited from here to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Unfortunately, they fall very short here. The inedible, overly squishy, overly chewy fat ratio and content of these tacos from this place was extremely disappointing and utterly destroyed any chance of being able to enjoy this dish. I quite literally had to remove a full taco's worth of chewy fat from the contents of the two tacos I ordered and was left with tough chunks or "cubes" of meat instead of the much better shredded style for these type of tacos. When I showed the person who took my order the amount of inedible fat I had pulled (keep in mind: I am a huge fan of a little gristle on my steak, so when I say inedible you can count on that) and asked "Is there always this much fat?" she replied, "Unfortunately Yes." Well, I have ordered these from this place before and can assure you they did not the first time. But, if she says "Unfortunately Yes" I think you should take her word for it and expect that each and every time you order them from here (again, love these, order them everywhere I can, and NO, that is not the norm!)

Tamales: Quality: fair Taste: more spicy than flavorful Presentation: Authentic style, about twice the size of what you may be used to, white corn and flattened. No sauce on top. Portion: average for this style

Admittedly, I am more of a fan of yellow corn tortillas than the white, but I found these to be essentially bland other than the spicy sauce. The pork was...

When my husband and my mom first pulled in the open sign was off, my mom told the owner and she just said “oh yeah ill turn it on”but didn’t really care much about it. The place was practically empty only one table was occupied, but we were hungry after a long trip we were passing by and decided to stop there to eat. My husband ordered a Carne Asada and from the first bite he took the meat was dry and had absolutely no taste whatsoever, he kindly got up to let the owner know and to see if maybe he could just get something different instead, but she refused and her answer was plain no. I got up to ask her why he couldn’t get something different and that he wasn’t asking her for a refund and her answer was no, she wanted to offer him 2 tacos for the price of the Carne Asada that he had already paid. I told her that the service was awful and that her attitude was worst, A place like this shouldn’t even be running and open to public if they’re gonna be treated very poorly, she obviously didn’t care about the fact that my husband didn’t eat anything. She left and didn’t even apologize for the worst service given or atleast apologize for the experience with the food. Will NEVER BE BACK AGAIN.. OVERLY PRICED my husband paid 50 something dollars for 2 plates and 2 drinks and didn’t even get to eat or enjoy his food. We regret stopping at this place. I didn’t even get to enjoy my food...

Man I didn't like it. Everyone keeps talking about authentic "street" tacos so I just gave it three stars because I never had a street taco. I don't want one either. First there are only two vegetarian options tacos and burritos. Ok I got the tacos. Hoping for crunchy but it is soft..The re fried beans have absolutely no seasoning or flavor. It's just like refried beans from the can put in the microwave for 30 seconds. I don't think it was cooked fresh because it wasn't hot at all. And then it's just these bland beans like straight out of the van and lettuce tomato shredded cheese and a slice of avocado. That's it. It comes with this green sauce that's super spicy. You have to get up to the topping "bar" to get your salsa. Which is so bland like there is no seasoning on anything. That's what makes mexican food the seasoning that's what makes all food the different types of seasoning. It's like going to a italian restaurant and getting the spaghetti and there is no seasoning in the sauce. I for sure wouldn't come back. But the service was nice. The fries taste like they are fried in the same grease as everything else but that's ok. It's just the tacos have no seasoning but like I said I never had a street taco so. So maybe the street are like the bad part of town. But it's nice and clean. So you might like it. There seemed to be regulars that came in.

Taqueria El Eden is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon, and I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience! 🌮🎉 From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu is a culinary adventure, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to every taste bud. The tacos here are nothing short of perfection – bursting with flavor and generously filled. Whether you're a fan of classic carnitas or adventurous enough to try lengua or al pastor, there's something here to satisfy every taco craving. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who are always ready to provide recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is a memorable one. What sets Taqueria El Eden apart is not just the food but the warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a delicious meal while connecting with friends or family. If you're in the area and craving authentic Mexican cuisine that's bursting with flavor, Taqueria El Eden II is an absolute must-visit. It's a culinary journey that promises to satisfy your cravings and leave you planning your next visit! 🌮🤤👌

Lo mejor de lo peor. Okay that's a little harsh. It was decent. The place was pretty busy so I may have ordered the wrong thing. I had the street tacos (chicken, beef, and pork). The chicken was excellent, but the other two left me underwhelmed. If I had ordered 3 chicken, this review would be totally different. That's why it gets a 4⭐ review. The staff is friendly. No table service here. I'll probably give it another go when I have 20 bucks to burn.
