6/21/23 Rude owner on phone(Matt)! Website doesn't advise how many shrimp and chicken come in a combo box. I called and the owner (Matt) picked up the phone and I, with please and thank you, asked that question and the price of 3 other items. In the end, the order I would have placed was approx. $38 for 16 pieces of chicken and a 16 oz mashed potatoes and gravy. Before I could even ask for the total or the sides, he hung up! No "Thank you" or "Good bye". Astonished, I called back and asked who it was I was speaking to (at which point he identified as Matt and I asked if he were the owner and he advised he was). I advised I was yet speaking and he'd hung up. He apologized and said because I said thank you, he "thought we were done". I responded we were not and asked for a total please. He advised the total and then snarkily remarked, "Is it okay if I hang up now? Are we done?" Astonished at his impudence, I advised we were done and he could cancel my order. YOU LOST A LONG TIME CUSTOMER WHO TYPICALLY ORDERS FOR OUR HOUSEHOLD AND MY JOB. I'll see to it the large practice I work for will never order from you guys again! We are ALWAYS polite! Just a little FYI: You should at least advise you're ending a call with a thank you or a goodbye; not an abrupt departure from the call. AND. As an owner, it is important to lead by example with the name of who a customer is speaking to. I recall one other time you were coarse on the phone. I am astonished at...
Read moreTaste just like Grandmas chicken...the bag she bought at Costco that has been in the freezer a while and she threw in the microwave.
We placed a large order for a bunch of people and we all had the similar thoughts on this place. Chicken wings come naked, no sauce on them. We wanted to taste some good flavor on the chicken but adding it yourself the chicken has no time to marinade so they were lack luster. The sauce isn't home made, didn't expect it but would have been great.
Potatoe salad and fries, again, nothing special. Cheap fries and the potatoe salad wasn't bad but nothing I couldn't make at home.
The tenders are what I mentioned above, taste like frozen tenders you get at any food store in bulk and you put in the oven for 15 minutes. No taste to them at all and they felt like flimsy rubber bands. Some still had some feathers on them, at least my Grandma picked them off before giving to me. With no taste to them you rely on the Heinz BBQ sauces.
I hate to be a hater but it was just such a disappointment. We heard good things but it felt like I was eating stuff I took out of the freezer and baked myself. I would say to save your money and visit Costco and pick up the Perdue chicken tenders and bake them yourselves to save some...
Read moreThe woman taking orders was very pleasant and courteous. However, the manager or owner was a different story. After my food was packed, he asked if I wanted any additional sauces. I requested an extra hot sauce, at which point he hesitated, displayed a noticeable attitude, and then stated there would be a 70 cent charge. It felt disingenuous to ask about sauces only after the meal was prepared, especially charging me 70 cents . Though 70 cents is a small amount , it’s about how it was presented . He then made a point to instruct the cashier to charge me for it.
Hope the tip goes to the kind woman at the counter rather than the manager/owner. As for the food, the chicken lacked flavor and was a puddle of grease. This was my first...
