I had a great experience at Al's Pizza! First and foremost the pizza was excellent!! Tom Martin, the new owner, was at the restaurant and was talking to all of the guests. It was like he knew everyone, and there were many people dining in that night. The main attraction, the pizza pie, was perfect - we got our two favorite types and both pies were perfect. The deluxe was perfectly baked with fresh ingredients, perfect amount of cheese, and the sauce had just the right amount of Italian seasoning with a rich tomato flavor. The BLT is my favorite pizza and it was delicious - if you like a great BLT sandwich you can't go wrong with a BLT from Al's Pizza. Now the service did not disappoint us - the waitress was great! As I mentioned the owner was greeting and talking to the guests, and the waitresses were quick and friendly with each of the guests. She was quick, personable, and she checked back several times to make sure we were satisfied. I would give this experience more than 5 stars if I could and will go back again soon! Please stop by Al's Pizza and try the deluxe or BLT it will...
Read moreIn my opinion the new owners are definitely taking you for your money. The last 2 times I ordered the Large chief salad take out I have been disappointed. A salad is basically as cheap as you can get as long as youâre just getting the lettuce. $14.90 for this bad boy when bacon bits and extra dressing are added! Last time I had no egg or tomato on it not by choice this time no egg, whereâs the cheese just a sprinkling gee thanks my dressing cups are only a quarter of the way full most the time thatâs why I have to ask for extra. Both times they didnât send crackers either. Definitely will spend my money elsewhere. I MISS THE OLD OWNERS who I do not even know who they were. I have also been told that the new owners adopt or foster quite a few children and make them slave away at their multiple businesses! That is hearsay but I personally will not be purchasing from Alâs in the future due to the personal experiences I have had on my last 2 takeouts. SMH.. $14.90 for lettuce! Get rich quick scheme! The girls taking the order over the phone both times were very helpful, kind, and...
Read moreI was ordering from them up until today when I learned they changed their delivery requirements: You must order $10 worth of food and your drink isn't included in that $10. Well I'm a skinny guy who doesn't eat much and is a very picky eater, so they just lost me as a customer. Their crustovers are friggin awesome, but their new delivery requirement makes them a no go for me unless I can find someone else to order food with. They have also screwed their drivers out of the generous tip I give them. Business is business though! Marco's pizza now has %100 of my business, and their drivers will be happier. After doing the numbers of what I order from marcos versus al's, AND with al's new rule that makes me order more food than before... Al's is more expensive to order from after tax than Marcos pizza. In retrospect my order from al's pizza $12.15, this new requirement jumps up the order price by at least $4, depending on what other food items I would buy....
