My wife and I have an annual tradition that started on our first Mother's Day together. I told her I would treat her to her favorite place to eat. We weren't married yet, and had been dating for several months. She led me to this old fashioned drive in root beer stand right outside beautiful Tawawa Park where we ordered the famous coney dogs with onion and cheese, of course, and a couple of root beers, and then she had me drive to Tawawa Park where we sat at a picnic table on a hill overlooking the covered bridge, playground and walking paths. They offer quite a variety of sandwiches such as shredded chicken or pork or beef, onion rings, huge orders of fries, chilli cheese fries, etc., As well as ice cream, their famous root beer/root beer floats, all delivered in old fashioned style by friendly car hops. Parking is ample and service is quick, even when it is busy, as it often is. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. I highly recommend this...
Read moreI ordered 3 Spanish dogs and an order of fries and had waited 45 minutes before deciding to pull away. The people there don’t know how to do there jobs. You have LITERALLY 40+ cars waiting for food and two of your employees are talking at the window, the others are in the back drinking drinks and sitting down, NOT WORKING, which I literally witnessed and another walked out from the back eating food. It’s good to know we waited 45 minutes to watch people eat and drink the things we and PLENTY other people were waiting on. Your customers ALWAYS come first. This BK stand need a whole new staff of people who actually want to do there job. It’s full of kids who clearly don’t care about what they’re doing. Don’t hire people who don’t...

Ok, I'll just have a gallon of the rootbeer since that's all the cash I have. I am waiting and waiting. Thinking, wow, how long does it take to pour rootbeer. Next thing I know, here comes the waitress with a gallon of rootbeer and a bag. I figured the bag was for another guest. Nope, she hands me the bag. She proceeds to tell me that the hotdogs were on the house. "Wait, what? Why?" She says to me... "No one should go hungry." And she walked away. This is amazing. What a wonderful little place. If I ever make it back to Sidney Ohio, bet your a$$...
