To piggyback off a review that was posted..."Today was the worst! I ordered it for take out but my mom wanted to dine in... They were rude about that change. They were not friendly at all." I came across the same today at lunch. I went in, no one greeted me, there was no sign directing to wait to be seated or seat yourself. So I got in line at the register and ordered a lg pizza and went to go sit down. I was not asked if my order was for take out or dine in. The cashier found me a brought my drink to me. About 8-9 minutes a waitress asks me to move to a bench seat, she needs my table...I ask where am I going to sit and she said carry outs sit on the bench she was pointing at and I said but I am eating in, I ordered my pizza and sat here. Again she said you are a carry out and I told her...that was never established either by me or the cashier. I did what I did in every cassano's I have been to for the last 30 years. When I explained this to the manager, I got stare. I said, Now that you know that my intent and desire is to eat here...where am I to sit??? Another stare. No one said ok we can make that happen, let me clear of the one of the tables or you can sit outside...no customer service at all, no coming up with a resolution....no nothing. I finally said, just give me my pizza and I will take it back to work and eat it there. I told the mgr that I am new to Sidney and was told this was a great place to eat and that it is not like other cassanos that2 guys own it and run a good store. I told the mgr that I was less than impressed and would tell anyone I know that this is not stellar place I was told about...he said, Go ahead. So, here we are I went ahead. So 2 people had about the same complaint...in all the years I was a district supervisor for a competing pizza company, I told my managers that for evey one complaint that gets expressed there were 25 just like it that never got spoken...25:1 ratio. This is why I retrained or even had to fire managers who didnt learn from their mistakes. Wow,...
Read moreFirst each one is so different. This one has atmosphere old antiques over the building some of the seating is like old church pews. It brings out the charm. Now some can use things around it they have there decor seeing the old pictures and other antiques just puts some charm this one does have a patio that is a plus for the days you would like to set out side. Now the other is the corporate one it is boring no old antiques on the wall nothing to pay trouble to the the local football teams in the county nothing that makes it special this one gives you a friendly smile hard working staff cool decorations in the building and a cool atmosphere. Now are there days they don't live up to par you bet but guess what we all do is the kitchen open to the public for everyone one to watch and see yes is there days it runs like clock work yes is there days it doesn't yes but we all deserve to have that day where we take a deep breath and realize this is a place where they will do there best to have you walk away...
Read moreOrdered pizza 05/12/2022, was exhausted from working outside, was dirty and just thought how good pizza delivered sounded! Hadn't had one delivered for a long time. It came much sooner than expected, of course, wish it hadn't since it was awful! Some of it stuck to top of box, NOT even hot, not warm! After I called and talked with a manager, is when I noticed some pcs. were COLD! Of course IF I wanted to take it back, I could get another one, which defeated the purpose of ordering it! Then, the most they do is give credit for half, better than nothing yes, good customer service, NO! Plus, the crust now is paper thin, skimpy on toppings! I agree with a friend, Cassano's is either 1. Really good. 2. Really bad. NOT consistent! They should've offered to bring another one, as long as this one had majority of it left. After all, have to eat it, to know it's COLD! Thanks for taking my 20.00, giving me 8.50 credit! Wonder when the managers eat out somewhere, how'd they feel with this...
