This is what I would consider a public service announcement to all in Sierra Vista. The person in the restaurant that introduced himself as the general manager openly admitted that he’s been sick for the past 5 days with 102 fever and still going into work. If you want to risk getting sick just be warned starting at the top they don’t care about your health or wellbeing. They only care about keeping the business open.
I placed an order here today for two sandwiches. They ended up making one of them wrong, not a big deal. I call into the restaurant to let them know that one of my sandwiches was made incorrectly. The first person to answer the phone didn’t give me their name or even acknowledge that I had called Jimmy John’s. Then when I asked to speak with the manager they were hesitant and then came back with questioning why I needed to speak with a manager. I explained that a sandwich had been made incorrectly and that I would like to speak with the manager about it. Then they say the manager is busy, when I say I can wait I hear the manager over the phone say how they don’t want to deal with me. I tell the employee I’m speaking with that I’ll just come down to the restaurant.
When I got to the restaurant the employee I was speaking with over the phone says he’s the assistant manager and I explained that at this point I want to be given the information to contact the general manager and the name of the manager that didn’t want to speak to me over the phone. This is when another employee said that he was the general manager and started to argue with me. He started to give me a bunch of excuses as to why he was at work when he shouldn’t be and that if he wasn’t there then the restaurant wouldn’t be open and then I wouldn’t even be able to order a sandwich. He then proceeds to tell me the reason he didn’t want to speak over the phone is that he is sick and has been for the past 5 days. He also stated that he was running a fever of 102. If the owner of this franchise reads this I hope you value your customers health more then your current GM does. This is not acceptable by...
Read moreI am not a fan of chain restaurants and it has been years since I ate at a Jimmy John's. The lady that took my order was very pleasant and made several good recommendations. I chose the number four which is a turkey sandwich on white bread. She did a good job of try to up sale chips and drinks. I typically don't chips or soda and declined. She was still very polite. They lived up to their slogan of freaky fast and my sandwich was ready before I filled a cup with water. I paid 7.05 for the sandwich. The bread was good they loaded it with iceberg lettuce to add fullness to the appearance of the sandwich. There only three thinly sliced pieces of turkey. It is such a small amount I could not taste the turkey. The bread was fresh and they loaded mayonnaise on the sandwich. I did enjoy the bread but the overall sandwich tasted like bread with copious amounts of mayonnaise. This is why I typically eat at mom and pop restaurants. They typically take more pride and provide a better value, i.e. cost to quality. These fast food restaurants are typically cheaper but if you truelly conducted a cost analysis of what you are getting compared to what you are paying for, the mom and pop places will win every time. The people were nice but the...
Read moreI had a very unpleasant experience with an extremely rude manager who seemed to be on a power trip. I placed an order inside and also ordered through the app. When I went to pick up my food, she looked at me angrily and said, “This isn’t your order.” She insisted that I already had my order and that the food was for someone else.
I tried to explain that I had ordered through the app and that I was simply picking up an additional sandwich that I had redeemed. Instead of understanding, she looked at me accusingly, as if I were trying to steal the sandwich.
I was upset with her behavior and told her that I didn’t appreciate being accused of trying to take something that didn’t belong to me. In response, she said, “Well, I guess you just don’t have to buy food from here anymore.”
I am disgusted by the treatment I received and the way business is conducted at this establishment. I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially those in the military. I would advise avoiding it at all costs. The treatment was unacceptable, and I wish I could take back my tip. Just for the record I spent $27 here just to be treated this way. The lady accused me to my face of being a thief and then not as...
