We went because we understood from a local news item that this restaurant was intended to be more of a sit-down dining experience as compared to the fast-food style of K-Bap. So were a little surprised we had to order at the counter, and even more surprised that the food came in polystyrene boxes, with plastic forks. No water was served: we had to buy their bottled water. With entrees costing the best part of $20, this was all just ridiculous.
The food, however, was quite good! Compliments to the chef. But you can't treat people dining in like this. For crying out loud, how hard is it to offer people a real plate and real silverware and a tiny bit of table service and courtesy? The place is very small -- it's not like you have to wash two hundred dishes every hour. I don't understand their business plan. Unless it changes drastically, they will be finished, and soon....
Read moreFirst time here. I had the Bulgogi tacos. They are the size of little street tacos with not a lot of stuffing. I’m 5-1 and 105 and I’m seriously thinking about going to another place as well to finish eating dinner. If you like sweet and spicy meat, this is your place. No side dishes to go with the tacos to make up the difference. So you will have to buy 6 tacos to feel satisfied. I tasted the spicy chicken as well. You do get white rice with that. It’s sweet and spicy too if you like that. Service was okay. You have to order at the counter and don’t forget to pick up your own fork and napkin because they won’t bring it out to you. Cook got food out in a timely manner Nice and clean. Okay, off to...

Grab someone you really really enjoy, come to KSpice, and get the last dish on the menu, the Galbi with two sides and a small soup. And then sit in this adorable feels-like-a-Korean-cafe—but-in-Arizona and sit while listening to romantic songs and looking into your partners eyes and eating DELICIOUS Galbi. Or like bring a friend and make it less romantic. Just come. Come eat. The portions are huge, meant to be shared. I can’t wait to come back and try the tacos. The Galbi though did I...
